Brought this up to Jack in suggestion thread IE, but the embedded link color needs to be changed to blue instead of the crimson color. It is very difficult to impossible to see unless you know to look for it. I know it is off topic, but figure sponsors will get more clicks if Madjackers can see the link:0008

This game reminds me of the Alabama- Notre Dame last year...........Notre Dame winning a lot of close game like Auburn this year and Alabama blowing out the opponents except for A&M, LSU, and Georgia .......The line last year came out Bama-8 and most of the people on this site thought the line was high and liked Notre Dame ..........We all know what happened..........FSU has a month to prepare for Auburn's run game and FSU can attack Auburn's porous defense through the air and the ground.....

I am totally shocked by this. If they wanted even money it would be between a pick and fsu -3.....they wanted auburn bets and they are getting them.....2 places I've looked and both have over 75% on auburn....

Guess the sec may finally lose a title game...

I am in shock at this line.....auburn who beat bama and just scored 59 in the best conference title game.....and is representing the conference who has won the past 7 titles....and they are nearly getting a 10 spot to start the game.....

Wow....

I was wayyyy wrong.....suppose the total at 65 is close to my guess of 66....I can hang my hat on that and pretend like I atleast partially know what I'm talking about.......which I don't....

Anyone else shocked by this line?

I think the SEC is cleary down this year....that's a no doubter....but man 10 points.....

I was called all sorts of crazy when I said BAMA would win by 30 last year.....so anyone who predicts a FSU blowout I respect your opinion....I just can't see it.....

Perhaps its less about the teams for me and I have the whole "SEC vs ACC" which is not fair....because clearly fsu is a level above the acc competition...

Should be fun game for sure.

I've watched FSU all season and the only teams that gave them any problems on defense were BC and Miami before Duke Johnson got hurt. Both have good running backs and OLine to exploit the inexperienced DL of FSU. They haven't faced anything like what they will see from Auburn...

This line is way too high. Not sure why the books are trying to entice so many Auburn bets but it is working and they may get crushed unless they move the line closer to 3 or 4. The SEC is definitely down this year and the myth of "SEC speed" on defense won't mean anything in this game but I still give Auburn a great chance to win. I'll be on Auburn +7 for sure.

You know I love you brother..... I have to disagree about the SEC being down this year! Three teams in the top 5

Florida state beat Clemson! Auburn beat #1 and #5 back to back. We will see in a month if I am way off base. I do not see FSU covering or winning the game. JMO :0008

If the SEC is down this year, what conferences are "UP" from their normal just so I have a basis for comparison.

Without even touching the NCG because I'm an Auburn fan,

I don't see any of our ranked teams losing their bowl games. Which should not only shut up all the people talking about "The Rankings are biased towards the SEC!!!!!!!" but also shut up everyone saying the SEC is down, for the 5th year in a row.

until this time next year, then the same people will come out saying the SEC is down, AGAIN. I have literally participated in this discussion for 4 years in a row. I shit you not. Every. Single. Year.

Question for the anti-SEC: When is the last year the SEC was not "down?"

I'll hang up and listen

To me this is the most interesting NC game in a long time. I can see someone make an agruement for either side.

Here's the things that I know. FSU is good on offense. Auburn is good on offense. FSU appears to be good on defense but worry their conference contributed to that although they looked damn good vs. a good Clemson offense. Auburn doesn't have a good defense and I think that's the main thing that stands out.

When I say the SEC is down, I am comparing it to itself in years past....I don't think this auburn team wins the west or the conference any of the past 6 years....I mean mizzou and TXAM came in and have basically dominated the SEC....two big 12 teams.....and literally dominated opponents at times.....

Hell even bama had close games this year which is usually never the case.

So while I think the SEC is still the best conference in football, I just feel like the gap has closed.

The talent level of teams in the SEC is down.....

Florida lost to georgia southern.....florida....and couple other small programs hung with SEC teams.....that would not of been the case the past few years....

I just think the talent is starting to spread out and the SEC is still the best, just not as dominant....

Tklankford you asked what confrences are up....again I'm comparing the SEC to the past years....

That being said, I don't think they are down enough for their conference champ and 1 loss team auburn to be getting 10 points from anyone....

I still remain shocked at this line and the fact that it isn't lower yet....this is insane to me....I wouldn't of been suprised with seeing a pickem....

I don't see why people are surprised at this line at all. I thought it would be even higher than 8, somewhere at least 10-12.5. Alabama was favored by 10 at Auburn everyone saw that game. Now you have just as good of team if not better on a neutral site laying less pts against the same team:shrug: I would say most would agree Alabama is fairly even with Florida St and I think fla st would even be a small favorite over Alabama on a neutral site. You could make a case for either team being a small fav. If you go based on the Alabama Auburn line I feel like the line should be about 13.

I know you can make a case for both teams. Auburn very lucky to be here, just like Notre Dame last year, but I'm leaning strong towards Fla St. Seems like they have the better defense and one of the best O lines I've seen in years. Just look how big they are :scared That line could make Tim Tebow look like Peyton Manning. :mj07:

Lay the pts and take it to the bank. :0071
