Flacco was going for the first down. Fair game. He should have slid earlier if he didn't want to get hit. What I couldn't believe was the lineman that threw Alonzo to the ground wasn't flagged. Never have I seen such a obvious foul not flagged.

I hate that sliding rule. A QB is going to lose his head one of these days. They want to run then run.

no problem with it at all.... keko was simply doing his job as a defender.... not his fault joe has no idea what he's doing when it comes to sliding... can we get some film of joe flacco sliding... I'm not sure whose more unathletic him or Sammy... wasn't even that viscous of a hit but because joe is so fragile it looked worse than it really was... fucker didn't even has chin strapped tight.... he's out there like a fukin jack in the box

He ranks 5th in all time most consecutive starts list for quarterbacks. Yeah, I call that fragile.

Yeah, it was a typical hit, that's why it's all over the news. Watch the hefty fine he gets. I would have loved seeing him hit Harbaugh, man that would have been great.

BTW, I'm no longer a Flacco fanboy, I think his better days are behind him and hope they find a way to let him go. Maybe this hit will be the ticket. He doesn't want to play anymore either, you can just see how he acts on the field. He's done.

He's had a pretty good line over the years... and as soon as he feels pressure he just throws it away... lot of balls thrown away by joe over the years....he hasn't got hit much... I mean look what happens when he does get hit.. lot of obligation to try and start every game with his dumb contract... if it was Matt Moore getting hit like that it's a 15 yarder no ones talking about... but because it's flacco it becomes a story.... He had his helmet strapped on like he's show jumping a horse which comes flyin off and of course his ear is bloody.... I haven't heard one defensive player in league say that hit was dirty by keko.... it just looked a lot worse than it was.... your no longer a flacco fanboy? Fuck me I hope not  Kaepernicks Coming to town... Baltimore is the perfect place for him

I think this is Joe's ticket to get out of football, which I think he wants anyway. He's set for life and lives a conservative lifestyle, why risk more injuries when you have it made? That's my prediction. Neck injuries can be faked even if they aren't real. Time to go home, Joe. Take Harbaugh and the rest of the staff with ya.

Do you think that's legit possibility?

I dont follow ravens much.

It definitely feels like he doesn't have the same desire and love for the game as early years.....you can see it in mannerisms and expressions.

At least in my opinion...

Fans loved the guy. He's the first QB that we ever had that was half decent. He took us to the playoffs like nobody's business. Look at his playoff record. After the real coach and motivator left, the team fell apart. After the big payday Flacco was never the same. Yes, you can definitely see it in his face and mannerisms. There's no hustle and no leadership. I'll quit rambling.

Was so obvious after the big payday. Embarassing.

Jack...How long ya think hes out...

I don't know, I haven't read one thing about his condition. I'd take a guess and say he'll be back next week because he has a long week to recover, but that is only speculation on my part. It's a concussion, how long do players tend to sit out after suffering a concussion?
