A few buddies and I are headed your way thursday. We are staying at Bally's. I was wondering if you had any oppinions on Casino's with good sportsbooks..i.e. lots of tv's and not overly crowded. This being my first trip to the big city I may be asking stupid questions but any information is appreciated.

Hoyt, I spoke with Fletcher very briefly last evening. He had very major surgery last Thursday and is still in lots of pain. I doubt he will see your message, as he probably isn't up to using the computer. Hopefully someone else can help you out.

If I may so bold as to intrude: you might want to ask Nolan Dalla as he had write-ups on the different Sportbooks. At least @ Bally's you will be near Luxor, NYNY, Excalibur, etc. and check out the ESPN cafe too. Bally's Sportsbook is one of your last choices-IMHO. Just got back from Vegas last week.
A good book to check out is the Barbary Coast (right down the street from Flamingo)
