my only convenient way out of here and into the city. the whole city is ****ed.

here's a few pics i took this morning from the interstate where i had to drive about 30 minutes to get to, normally in 5 minutes.

a lot of people have a hellava lot more problems than we do but it's inconvenient none the less.

didn't realize so much rain, or is this all a result of a lot of rain north of you, or both??
we had a lot of rain but this is caused by the rain north of us. i couldn't take pics of the worst shit, in the city, because it's too jammed up and cops wanting people to GTF home.

the hospital is closed and evacuated. it was an island last night but water is down now.

roads closed everywhere.

there's only one road into the city which will be a cluster**** tomorrow.

half the city witout electric, 2 dead, etc, etc.

gas stations out of gas or running out of gas.

the other side of the interstate was a real diaster but i couldn't get over there.

prob 400 cars stranded in walmart, menards, sams and the holiday inn you can only see the tops of cars.

wow!

Insurance claim submitted soon. Lost about 12 trees, 1 hit the house and 1 on the fence. Roof damage, etc. What a fking mess!!!! They STILL don't have power. Must be 10,000 branches laying everywhere, could take weeks to clean up. Wind so strong it blew thousands of fish out of the shallow water and up onto the banks and killed them.

:scared

been there. got nothing for the yard. nothing.

They are covered up to $1,000. Plus the removal is covered if they are on or across covered structures such as fence, house, driveway. Sometimes you need to slide them a couple feet to make sure they are where they need to be;)

Not to mention the damage to the roof, fence, and house. Oh yea, it's covered!!!

Also, don't forget I sell this shit! Cover this and that or my next $100,000 in biz goes to your competitors, not to mention I will shop all your renewals....:D

maybe because i was in a flood zone. i had to have separate flood insurance and those bastids only cover the house and contents. no driveways, bridges, trees, shrubs, NOTHING outside.

maybe that was the case, as i think about it.

is it FEMA? those bastids came out and estimated over 10K damage then sent me a check for $700. WTF?

oh, they offered me a low interest loan too

my homeowners insurance covered tree falling on storage room and fence last hurricane. i would think that would be standard policy to cover trees falling on house.
