On the course!
I have been down here all week, and nothing changes with these douchebags.

Is it a state law down here that you don't use your directionals?

My fucking sister has even been down here so long that SHE doesn't even know she's become one of "them"!

Thanks for the rant time!

It's not the locals. It's all you fucking tourists that don't know where in the hell you're going. Us residents have jobs and aren't on the roads with all of you infiltrators. Sure we'll take your money, but the trade off is we have to put up with all of your shit ass driving. Welcome to sunny Florida, but just make sure you're gone in a week. :0008

I was going to bust your balls about it not being a law, cause it is in every state I have lived in, the good ol' Failure to Signal, but I took a quick gander at the Florida statutes and DMV handbook and sure as shit it is not against the law to not signal in Florida.

Interesting.

As a "courtesy", I'll post the law for you. Feel free to pass it on to other remedial family and friends.

Florida State Statute 316.155

When signal required---

(1) No person may turn a vehicle from a direct course or move right or left upon a highway unless and until such movement can be made with reasonable safety, and then only after giving an appropriate signal in the manner hereinafter provided, in the event any other vehicle may be affected by the movement.

(2) A signal of intention to turn right or left must be given continuously during not less than the last 100 feet traveled by the vehicle before turning, except that such a signal by hand or arm need not be given continuously by a bicyclist if the hand is needed in the control or operation of the bicycle.

(3) No person may stop or suddenly decrease the speed of a vehicle without first giving an appropriate signal in the manner provided herein to the driver of any vehicle immediately to the rear, when there is opportunity to give such signal.

(4) The signals provided for in s. 316.156 shall be used to indicate an intention to turn, to overtake, or to pass a vehicle and may not, except as provided in s. 316.2397, be flashed on one side only on a parked or disabled vehicle or flashed as a courtesy or ?do pass? signal to operators of other vehicles approaching from the rear.

(5) A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a moving violation as provided in chapter 318.

The weather was great. Humidty almost nothing. Palmer Ranch is about 5 miles from my mom's place. She lives in the Bee Ridge/Beneva Rd area.

I hope you used your directionals!

It started getting nicer yesterday here in PA. :0074

I went to lunch today and I followed a guy who turned 5 times on the way to and in town. Never used his turn signal once and half the time was driving over the center line. When he turned into McDonald's he was holding something that looked like an iPad in his hand.
