Is anyone else going to this?
http://www.vegasinsider.com/visports/images/vegas-seminar/2011/agenda.pdf

I plan on going to at least two of the different panel discussions. Definetly going to see what Steve Fezzik and Teddy Covers have to say on the Sunday morning panel and will probably attend the morning session on Saturday as well. The seminar is free, so if you live in Vegas, or you're in town for the weekend like me, you might be interested.

I'm staying at the Cosmo this weekend so if anybody is planning on passing through there or is going to the seminar give me a shout out here and maybe we can meet up for a drink or something. I'm always checking up on this site regularly when I'm out there so I should see any posts on my iphone. Would be great to see a fellow madjacker out in vegas.

Hope this post is of interest to people and that Jack or IE don't have a problem with me posting the link. If not then I can just cut and paste the seminar agenda into this thread for people to see if interested.

maybe post the agenda since tout links are not really allowed on the fourm, but your agenda is to help others so should be ok.

Wow....that sounds cool. I'd go if I was in Vegas, but sadly I am not.

Keep us posted as to what it was like.

As it turns out, because of a family medical emergency, I had to rebook my trip for next weekend. Nothing too drastic, but it looks like my futures and week one bets in football will have to wait another week... but worse than that I have to miss the seminar! :nooo:

If anybody else gets a chance to go to this, please post about your experience at the seminar and a few photos if possible. I'm curious to know how informative this event is and if I should put it on my calendar for next year, if there is another one.

IT'S EASY. THERE IS NO FREE ADVERTISING HERE. DUH!

AND YOU ARE HERE TO HELP YOURSELF!

Deezy did not post a link that would have financially rewarded him.

If you want to sell something here, buy a banner or text link.

Why should sportsbooks pay to advertise here and you get it for free. You are going about it in a sleazy manner, dude.

AND IE WASN'T TALKING TO YOU ANYWAY.

Just a note, and Jack I know you said that the link I posted was not benefitting me in any way finacially, but I don't want people to think I'm associated in any way with the people putting together this seminar. I just came accross this event on another site and signed up thinking it would be interesting. I posted it here hoping that others could gain something by attending it. I just don't want anyone to think I'm trying to promote another site or group.
I'm loyal to MadJacks dammit! :Yep:

And I do hope that people going to this thing CAN benifit finacially by gaining information that can help make them better sports bettors! :0071

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I went both days. I handicap mostly MLB and NHL myself, so I fell asleep a bit during the CFB seminar...

best part of attending was meeting the famous sports bettors and touts. I've seen and met some over the years, like Cokin, Nover and Isoke. But never seen guys like Dink Denkenson or Fezzik.

MJ's own Nolan Dalla was there. During the seminar discussion covering half-time betting some from the panel pointed out Nolan in the audience and acknowledged his pioneering efforts on analyzing and writing about half-time wagering.

here's a little clip I recorded of Fezzik speaking on the sports betting books he recommends reading:
