It's funny how the neo-cons are attacking Gonzales for not being 'right' enough. In reality , he is quite right of center, but ruled against the bible thumpers on an abortion parental notification issue when he was on the Texas Supreme Court. That's all that matters to some of these guys. Who cares about anything else, we need to reverse Roe V. Wade!

I'm right of center and pro-life, but I find myself agreeing with this post.

OK, OK... I'm being a little hard on Screech. It's just that, out of the SBTB crew, I would get a lot more excited at the prospect of running into, say, Miss Thiessen at the local grocery store as opposed to Screech.

From what I understand, he now lives in Port Washington now, so a little ways north up Lake Michigan. Apparently he's dabbled in teaching chess.

I never found Screech humorous... always my least favorite character by far on that show. But for those of you who are fans like Kosar, I found this interview for you to enjoy, which includes his feelings about "Showgirls."

Great interview, BJ. And it's interesting that you had it right at your fingertips.

matthew,
you mentioned some good ones of SBTB, do like the car one with jesses brother from new york, good stuff, countless good episodes.....also one from a few days ago, screeches parents away, violet the nerdy girl broke his moms elvis doll (guess he was all shook up) and they tried playing cards vs that nerd maxwell to win it back, but he pulled 4 kings to beat their 4 queens, very unfortunate! 90210 had many classics of course, anything with a hot Valerie scheming, does it for me......I'm happy to be spending my times as wisely as you guys are, but good read even though I caught it a day late

That Violet episode was one of the real early ones. Not my favorite period, but that episode was ok.

Time spent watching SBTB is time well spent.

I agree, Matt. The later ones were better, actually the College Years ones were some of the better ones, with Mike Golic as the hall manager.......but yes, actually the real early ones were the ones with Miss Bliss, but that's many moons ago......how about the one with Jesse getting addicted to those pills, and screech poses as sinadeo conner and microphones the girls in the locker room, countless good ones obviously though

Which Bell character would most likely have been involved in a teen abortion issue?

I would say Zach. I think Slater would have the kid because of his Catholic ties. Zach could get pretty much any girl in the school and one of them would probably try and trap him - much like that of an NBA star. He'd try and be responsible with condoms, but at the rate he could pull in tail, I figure he'd screw up somewhere along the way.

I don't see any of the main female characters being pregnant. They all seemed very responsible. Well, maybe the black girl - but that's purely a racially motivated assumption. I seem to remember Screech was always after her, so I could see her being kinda slutty and take soime unnecessary chances with some other guy just to get away from Screech.

Lisa wasn't slutty at all, I didn't think. In fact, I always considered her the biggest prude of the three.

Out of the females, I would say Kelly. Although she wasn't exactly a slut, she had a hell of a lot of different boyfriends. I think she would probably be sent away to her grandpas house (remember when those developers tried to take his land?) and have the baby out there. She would then put it up for adoption and come back to Bayside High like nothing ever happened.

Jessie never seemed to be around boyfriends very much(could be that's why she was in 'showgirls'-making up for lost time) and she was very responsible, so not her.

I agree that Zack would be most likely overall. His family was rich and i'm sure they'd pay anything to make the problem go away so their precious son wasn't saddled with a baby as a young man.

Kosar- that interview took all of 15 seconds to find with a google search for "Dustin Diamond" "interview".

But I think you're spot on with Zack being the most likely to envoke his Roe v. Wade rights. He was always so happy-go-lucky on the show, but you know damn well that if he knocked some chick up and got her cornered in a room (with the cameras off, of course), the trust-fund baby in him would come out like, "No... you aren't thinking about having an abortion. You ARE having an abortion. Got it??" The girl would have no chance against a man of Zack's stature.

Oh yeah... almost forgot. No, Lisa wasn't slutty. If she was truly a whore, you know at least once during the show's run she would've finally relented and given in to Screech's relentless pursuit, if for no other reason than to finally get him off her back. But she stood firm.

Roe v. Wade shouldn't be overturned, it should have been given to the states to decide on since it is not a Constitutional issue. I've said this for years. Let the legislature decide, hell they should do something! Or maybe popular vote?
Of course, the commies only leave it to a referenda when it's a "Lock and Load" issue for the Home team.

Of course, it's okay to bash "Bible Thumpers" as the scum of the earth (not that I would hang out with the group, y'know). But at the same time homos, druggies and the occasional muslim extremist are "fine" to be left alone and "tolerated".
Bernie, you gotta get some of that neo-socialist Kool-Aid out of your system. I would much rather prefer (and probably most here) a country led by Bible-Thumpers than by miscreants like the left wants. At least most evangelicals are easier to beat up :) if they start messing with you.

And, yes, I know, you weren't "bashing" them per se. Just a little freedom of speech there to be "group inclusionary". :sadwave:

That's a nice rant, nosigar, but my point was simple. The far right is attacking another 'pretty' far right candidate based on one issue.

And which 'miscreants' do the 'left' want to lead the country, exactly?

Of course. Google. First we have smurphy talking about some chick that made him watch 90210 and now we have the google explanation.

I agree. That's how it would have gone down if Zack knocked someone up.

I also get the feeling Miss Bliss herself was somewhat of a liberal hellcat and may well have had an abortion in her teen or college years.

Howard Dean is an idiot. Nobody wants him to 'lead the country.' Including Dems, as was demonstrated after his meltdown in Iowa.

Just a heads up, the chairman of the DNC is no threat to lead the country.

Possible. As we all know, only hellcats, sluts and people on welfare have abortions.
