BetFirstClass has come up with a fun little contest that should make watching the NBA All Star Weekend that much more enjoyable. There is absolutely NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED to participate or to win this contest but anyone who chooses to play MUST have an account at BetFirstClass and MUST email me their account number and poster name prior to the start of the 3 Point Shootout on Saturday night. I want to emphasize that anyone failing to do this will NOT be eligible to win.

If you do not already have an account with BetFirstClass you can sign up for free by clicking HERE. Please remember to select MadJackSports in the pull down menu next to ?Referred By? when registering your account.

Here?s the contest format:
All contestants will be given a $25 Free Play to wager with but in order to win, must correctly select the winners of the 3 Point Shootout and the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night, as well as the All Star MVP.

Using the odds posted below, every contestant who correctly predicts the winner of the 3 Point Shootout will advance to the next round. If your wager on the 3 Point Shootout is a loser, you are out but if it is a winner, then the funds that you won will be wagered on the Slam Dunk Contest.

Contestants that correctly predict the winner of the Slam Dunk Contest will then have those winnings wagered on who will be awarded the All Star MVP on Sunday. The winnings from each round are not cumulative as only the amount won from the previous wager will be used in the next round. All three selections must me made in a single post before 7:45 PM EST on Saturday which is 15 minutes before the start of the 3 Point Shootout. This deadline to post your picks will be STRICTLY enforced and we will use the Forum time stamp in each post for determining compliance with the deadline. Contest entries posted past the deadline will not be considered.

Anyone who correctly predicts the winners in all three categories will have their BetFirstClass account credited with the amount won from All Star MVP wager and a ten time rollover will apply before these funds can be withdrawn from their accounts.

Here is an example of how your post should look:

3 Point Shootout - Mike Bibby +800
Slam Dunk Contest
- JR Smith +235
All Star MVP
- Chris Paul +500

In this example, all contestants that selected the winners in all three categories, would win $200 on the $25 Free Play in the 3 Point Shootout which in turn, would be wagered on the Slam Dunk Contest netting $470 after the first two rounds. That $470 is then wagered on the All Star MVP for a total net win of $2350. Failure to select the winners in all three categories means that you win nothing but if you are able to do so, this could turn into a very nice FREE payday from BetFirstClass.

The following are the odds that we will use for each category for the purpose of this contest, regardless of any odds differentials that you may find on the BetFirstClass website:

Player to win the 3 Point Shootout
Daequan Cook +800
Danny Granger +300
Jason Kapono +100
Mike Bibby +800
Rashard Lewis +320
Roger Mason +500

Player to win Slam Dunk Contest
Dwight Howard -150
JR Smith +235
Nate Robinson +500
Rudy Fernandez +500

Player to win the All Star MVP
Allen Iverson +1000
Amare Stoudemire +500
Brandon Roy +1000
Chauncey Billups +1500
Mo Williams +1500
Chris Paul +500
Danny Granger +1250
Dirk Nowitzki +750
Dwight Howard +400
Dwyane Wade +400
Joe Johnson +1500
Kevin Garnett +1000
Kobe Bryant +250
LeBron James +250
Pau Gasol +1500
Paul Pierce +1750
Shaquille ONeal +1000
Tim Duncan +1000
Tony Parker +1250
Yao Ming +1000
Field (any other) +500

Good luck to all and please remember to email your BetFirstClass account number and poster name to Judge@BetFirstClass.com before the start of the 3 Point Shootout tonight. Also in your emails, please indicate that you are from MadJacks.

Jeez, I know it fucking Valentine's day and a bunch of you fools are probably busy . . . . . . well you know, but are none of you even remotely interested in a free shot at some coin while you watch the All Star contests tonight?

Put the strawberries down for a second and make your picks. You probably already spent a fortune on the honey but this won't cost you shit and you might even find a way to make a nice chunk of change tonight.

Pick the 3 for a $25 free play? It should be a $200 freeplay for picking all 3.

Lucy, I encourage you to read the contest format again because you're way off. This contest was run at three forums and the one guy who picked the first two correctly, stands to win $2500 if Lebron wins the MVP Award tonight.
