Sister in law was telling me you can get 1 free copy of your credit reort from each of the reporting agencies once every 12 months.

She gave me this site so I checked it out.

You click on your state and then click on who you want your credit report from and it takes you to that site. Put your info in and answer a couple questions. Your credit report then pops up. You can then print it out.

I could not believe the promotional inquireys I had on mine. No wonder I am always getting junk mail.

I ran mine just to make sure everything was accurate.

NOW FOR THE WARNING.....At Transunion they asked me if I wanted my credit score for $5.95. I just clicked on NO and my report came up. I would advise against getting the score. You should be able to tell where you are at by looking at just the report.

I saw that I had something past due that I never got a bill for :cursin:

No credit score sucks but oh well it's free.

man, i don't know about that site and i went and answered all the questions too. when i got to the agreement part i clicked out of that site. now i'm pissed that someone has some good personal info on me.

Certainly Legit, Jack I am sure your info is safe, you can probably go back to the site and go back through again and get your info if you want

yes, this is a legit site. It is the one rolled out under the direction of the gov't that will allow every citizen access to one free credit REPORT (NOT SCORE) from each of the 3 bureaus once per year. It is being rolled out in phases of regions of the country. Those of us on the east coast are last to get it.. sometime later this year I do believe. Some states already have passed bills to give residents the same deal. 1 free report per agency per year.

Note: There are many scam sites out there with similar names. Please be sure you use the correct site.
