Ah, that's the problem. My DVD player must not play divx and that's why it plays on my computer. Any way around this?

Two ways around it.
If you have a PS3 then it will play them.
2nd way is to go to Walmart and buy a new dvd player.
They have one that plays divx coded files and it is like $24.99 for the player,
It is a Magnavox.
just look for the Divx logo or word on the box or even on the player itself.

Blu Ray players have finally come down but back in the day a PS3 and a Blu Ray player were same price.

As for watching too much tv. No such thing. It is free(if you do it right) and right in front of you.

Also Blu Ray movies.

I have one and have not bought or even really played for that matter a game in almost 2 years yet I use it almost everyday.

Get with the times MJ.
Game systems aren't just for kids anymore.

I am sure your hand eye motor skills could use a good tuning as well so maybe a game system is right up your alley.

also, in regards to the PS3, many review sites including consumers report and cnet have reported the PS3 (when playing blu ray discs) to be the best if not one of the best blu ray players out there. Picture quality is AMAZING.

Once you extract the file then you should have .avi file for cd1 and 1 .avi file for cd2.

I use Nero to burn them to disc. Just burn as a dvd iso file. Put the two .avi files on the disc and burn and watch.
DVD player must be capable of playing divx.
You will know when you put it in if it works right away.

keGray-could you walk me through "extracting" these files? I have the wrar391.exe icon on my desktop, and Invictus (cd1 & cd2) in my DOWNLOADS folder. How exactly do you extract them?

Sorry about that man. I'm out of town till Monday for a birthday spectacular. What you need to do is run the wrar391.exe file and let that program load to your computer. Then open WinRar in the Start, Program Menu, Winrar will say extract click on that button and pick the first file from the previous thread and it will take about 3 minutes to extract which will produce a video file and that is cd 1, then you do the same for cd 2. You should be golden after that.

Jack- what site are you using to download the moves? most of the sites posted are for watching on the computer. I would rather download, and burn to a disc.
