FREEZER ....REFRIG..........IN THE GARAGE ???????????

one .........both...combo ??????????????

I take it for granted that we have a FREEZER and a REFIG/freezer out in the garage for decades

just wondering if that is more or less a staple with most American homes these days

neither.

why?

ours are for extra frozen food plus I used the freezer to make ice for the lawn service . Used large pots filled w/water instead of buying ice everyday...the icemaker helped but wasn't enough in the dead of summer

the frig in the garage keeps all the refreshments all year round ...

usually 24 bottles of water cold every day in the garage frig ....lotta bottle water consummation...

All water and beer and drinks go in the refrigerator and meats and other frozen stuff in the freezer. We don't really need either one now that it's only the 2 of us at home.

Yeah, we need them both for when we have company and for the holidays. I don't know what it would be like without them.

Freezer in the garage...I buy my meat wholesale from a farm in Utah....1/2 a cow/whole pig/spring lamb twice a year!!

It crapped out on me in the Vegas heat 2 years ago and I had to cook about 150 lbs of meat in a week....many happy friends and coworkers

I have my old fridge from when I first got married 26+ years ago in my basement. I always have cold beer in it among other drinks. The extra freezer and fridge space comes in handy when we make trips to BJ's. :toast::drinky:

My mom who lives in Iowa has a refrigerator in her garage that is 57 years old and still works-made by International Harvester.
