A month ago I said that Mia wouldn't start winning until they turned the team over to Strickland to run. Now I'm not a big Strickland fan but folks, he's the best they have at this time. He is a veteran who can score, push the ball up the floor and most importantly, get the ball to the shooters in the right spots. Riely wanted to make a point guard out of Carter and that just didn't work. Now it appears he has given up on Carter and maybe they can get headed in the right direction. This is not a 6-23 team, neither talent-wise nor coaching. Strickland has been ave 25 min but at Ind he had 36 min and wound up with 14 points, 10 boards, and 9 assists, 1 assist away from a triple-double. How long has it been since a Mia point guard did that. Of course, it didn't hurt that Eddie Jones finally got out of his shooting funk. We might make a little money on this team in the next couple of weeks. Now about tonights game.

First of all I show Mia with a + 2 adv. but I find this even more interesting. Mia's ave losing margin on the road is 3 points. That's only the NBA home-court adv. Their record on the road is 5-2-1 when getting over 3 and their worst loss was by 9 at NY on Nov 15 without Zo, Grant or Strickland playing. I like the defensive match-ups and if Strickland gets 34+ min I wouldn't be surprised at a straight-up win. Also liking the over but still got some work to do on that.

Yeah i was saying the same thing gsp, carter is not even close to an nba pg, and i think james might be alright once he relaxes. Im hoping either him or house can come in for a few minutes and not play awful. I mean simple fact is, when zo and grant are right, this is a pretty damn good team, and theyve been right the last two games. I mean i know lots of teams that would love to have gill, ellis and gat off the bench, problem has been mostly at pg and mostly with the weak play of grant(and zo but we all know why that is) Zo has been pretty good for about 3 weeks except 2 games, and more so than that like i said and you said until someone proves they can thump miami on the road i have to take the pts. Even more so with a home team that hasnt proven they like to thump teams. Another thing ive noticed is boston struggles with teams that play any d, go back and look at there wins there generally over bad defensive teams. When they face a better than average team def. they really struggle thing is theres only about 8-10 of those in the league these days....

good luck

I don't know what criteria KC is using but our leans on totals look a lot alike. Befor e the line dropped I had Mia as a +2 adv, Wash o 177, Tor o 187, Bos 0 174', Minn u 192, SA u 193, Sea o 184, LAL u 196. Also like the Clips.

Hey Joe, get this crap... i had no time to post, or for that matter even play my totals tonite. Since my confidence level has been kinda shaken up on totals lately, i was gonna take all my system plays for 2x. Would have gone 10-0, swear to god. So ask me why i did not have time to play my totals?? Well i had to go register with the Fiance' for her bridal shower in March.
