My plays will be almost exclusively limited to MAC and Horizon league action with some exceptions like the Holiday tourney season. To keep things pretty simple for the sake of record keeping plays all plays will be considered 1 unit unless otherwise noted with 3 unit plays being considered a top play.

S Dak / Wright St under 136 Neutral floor at NIU in Dekalb.

Rule changes or not, Wright St. coach Donlon loves to work the shot clock and play solid defense. Over the years his teams have usually kept opponents in the low 60s. Looking to get my feet wet on day one so I landed here. Small play

Ball St / Bradley under 134'

Its all guess work when it comes to how these games are called but this number seems a reach and an overreaction for two teams that have been offensively challenged in past seasons.

CMU -18' Vs Jax St :

Jax St is replacing nearly 70% of their production from last season and is not a good as Ferris St who CMU dispatched in their ex game. Keno's squad is loaded with everybody back except forward Hibbits who is out for the season but he was not a major contributor.

Saturday:

Akron -7' vs Cleveland State:
This is a three unit play. CSU decimated by transfers and graduation. Coach Waters says he just wants to see his team to compete. Look at the total here too when released because Waters says he wants to press a lot.

Akron is balanced, deep and with good size and guard play. This figures to be Dambrot's best team in the last few years which says something as the Zips have won 21+ games for each of the past ten years or so. I expected this number to be about -10 / -12 or so.

Luckily I played only the 1st half under in the Wright St and the Ball St game

Fundamentally, we both know that is the way to go with the unders. I put those two out before I got the FH lines which was stupid. Ended up going both ways on those two so not as bad as it appears and Ball / Brad looking good early.

Got 131 earlier this morning. Looks like you read this one right. Liking LaSalle today over Towson.

Thanks, dropped a couple bucks on them. Also taking a small flyer on the Pengs. Kent has been soft inside recently and lost their best 3 producers in the backcourt. Also a small play on Akron/ Miami under 42' and that's all I got today other than a couple HS plays.

For the record:

Friday results: 1-2 (-1.20)

Saturdays Hoops Plays:

Akron -7' 3 units

Akron / Cleve St over 133' 1 unit

Youngstown St +13' 1 unit

Saw both ends of the DH in Kent last night and take heed, Cleveland State is one very bad basketball team. Akron has a lot of talent but the first year players need some time.. had an 18 point lead at halftime then became very sloppy.

Kent St isn't much. Left YSU in the game far too long and damn near blew it. Youngstown is not nearly as athletic as in the past but appears to have some guys that are shooters. May be able to sneak up on some people in the Horizon. Both teams defended pretty poorly.

Sat results : 2-1 +2.9
Overall : 3-3 +1.7

Nothing today, flirted with Valpo and over but going to leave it alone
