Penn -4.5 over Cornell **
Quacks beat them in upstate NY by 8..think they can beat them by the same at the Palestro.
Oakland -9 over Det **
Ist game I played in the Horizon this year....
Valpo -3.5 over Wisky **
Actually 2nd game played in Horizon...won with Valpo in week 1.. Valpo is tough...nobody wants these guys in the big dance...
Iona -6 over Manhattan ***

Line went up and put a few more *'s on the game...Iona still can't play defense but they are only 1 game back from Monmouth....they beat a good Siena team up in Albany the other day...almost blew a 25 pt lead but hung on to win by 6 or 7...its the same story with Iona...English has NBA talent...Williams inside can score and rebound...they can shoot the eyes out of the basket...and they can't gd their own shadows...but this is a different Jaspers team...they have trouble playing defense and scoring...and rebounding....they just lost to Peter the other day by 21 pts....thats almost impossible....Gaels want the No 1 seed...if Monmouth wins tonite I think they clinch it...the good news is the Monmouth game doesn't start till 9.00 pm so Iona won't be looking at the scores since there's start is 7.00pm......and remember Draddy Gym is just about 10 or 11 miles down the Taconic Parkway from the Iona campus...and Iona could have just as many fans tonite in the gym...
Marist -2 over Quinn ****
Both teams are bad. Quinn is the better rebounding team...blew the foxes away the 1st time they played by 26 pts..one of the foxes worst losses...Foxes have 2 outstanding gds in Hart and Parker...can shoot and penetrate....but why are they 6-22...they have no 3's,4's or 5's...they cannot rebound and that scares me a little tonite....it senior nite tonite and they really have only one senior Troug and he's terrible..can rebound but can't score...senior nite is special when you say goodbye to someone you miss...Troug will not be missed...in fact he might get a few cheers saying" good luck,don;t let the front door hit you on your way out". I think both teams have lost 5 or their last 6 or 7.....backing my Foxes tonite for 2 main reasons...one...I am leaving in about an hour to go to the game...have to cheer for them....free ticket with two buddies of mine that teach there...last time there I was cheering for Iona so I promised that won't happen again... 2. Marist has not lost on Senior Nite since 2011....and you know Troug will have 22 pts,12 bds and 6 blocked shots....
Monmouth -9.5 over Rider ***
Hawks need to get their act together...they have been up and down...Rice will be coach of the yr and Robinson POY...think they put it "to the pedal" tonite...its on national tv..late game...they will know the outcome of the iona game...and if Iona wins think they still have to win on sunday to clinch it all{ I might be wrong on that}...never the less think they play with some steam tonite... I had Monmouth -11 but think I'm getting a few gift points..think they win by double D's...battle of NJ tonite..loser gets Rutgers...
