How can the water dispenser just quit working? Put glass under there, push and water pours. Now nothing.

Ice is not being made either so being the incredibly intelligent person that I am, I figure the 2 are related.

Just your standard Frigidaire.

If you have any input I would appreciate it. I fnot, have a good evening and I'll buy a new fridge tomorrow.

I don't have a lot of patience.

That curly white tube doesn not have a kink in it. There's some thin green tube going up the back of the fridge but I have no idea what that is.

Doesn't make sense. It just stopped out of the blue. It appears the ice maker is going through the motions but doesn't drop any ice. I've pulled the bar up to shut it off.

Damn! I hate this shit! It'll be something easy to fix I guarantee!

Thanks for the replies.

Oh, no water on floor anywhere.

they have a selonoid switch that controls the flow of water to icemaker and water dispenser..

out of my learned stuff w/this..

our garage frig/freezer did the same thing..we just use it for drinks and extra storage now..

the make and model should be easily found..a trouble shoot page would help to trace the line inside..

diagram of inner workings should lead you directly to the switch..

can't be real hard to do..try on line help and utube first before giving a plumber 70 bucks an hour..

Sounds like the water line is frozen to me. Happened to me before. Does the fridge have a filter?

Also, can you hear the water cut on to try to fill the ice maker....and see the water line jump when it does?

Got it!

Some cartridge thingy in the upper right side of the refrigerator I caught out of the corner of my eye. Barely noticeable. PureSource Ice/Water Filtration on the cartridge.

No idea why I looked in the fridge for a freezer problem(I thought).

Many thanks for the quick replies!

Need a Crown......no ice!

My answer would have been with all the commissions you have made on booking my trip or with the winnings from some of my contests, buy a f*cking new one. Thankfully you got some help in the matter before you heeded my advice.
