My first shot a few days ago, Moderna, just slightly sore upper arm...My 95 year old dad not even have that mild side effect. He gets his 2nd dose tomorrow...

side effects been worse after 2nd dose, and worse in younger folks, ...my half brother (school principal) and half sister (teacher) in their 40s, got pretty darn sick and in bed after 2nd dose, half bro?s wife (a teacher) even fainted....

Most of my colleagues got Pfizer. I got Moderna. After the second shots, most of us had terrible body aches or headaches. I still went to work the day after my second shot even though I felt like shit. It was not one of my better days.

If at all possible, get your second shot on a "Friday" so that you can rest the next day.

Wow! I feel fortunate. Very mild soreness at the injection area. My 82 YO FIL didn't even get a sore arm.

1st shot moderna fri and now yesterday arm is sore where injected go for 2 nd hot april 2nd have no idea whre it is all i know it wa a rite aid in NJ son drove me there

I never had COVID so i expect maybe minor side effects :00hour

I had pfizer on 3-3. Sore arm, headache and chills for a day. Hell, I have been through a whole lot worse. 2nd shot due on 3-31.

The day after my 95 year old dad (a WWII vet!) got his 2nd dose, he was cleaning the lawnmower and became weak. Turned out he had a fever. So he just went to bed early, fully recovered by next morning, and doing well now.

It sounds like what you got is not uncommon. Hopefully today will be the end of the aches and pains.

I wonder if the strong negative reactions coincide with the genetic profiles that were hammered by the virus. If that's the case, consider this a win.

I had a feeling given all the crap my body has been thru these last 6 years that it might be ruff after the 2nd shot.....
