That's too bad. I like Tiger. Probably too much too fast for him growing up and some people dislike for their own reasons but I enjoyed watching the guy play. He brought the audience back to televised golf. Other young players have certainly replaced him in the standings but what he accomplished in his career to date is nothing short of spectacular. I hope he gets a win again or maybe on the senior tour. He'll leave the game as one of the best ever. I hope someday to see him do the same thing Watson and Faldo did yesterday and him get the same or better reception.

He brought the audience back to televised golf.

This is one reason why I haven't been much of a fan. Sports center and TVs at bars were great at one time.... Maybe a blurp on last 30 seconds and every tv on games but then Tiger came along and Sports center never the same and have to fight people to have a ball game at some establishments. in fact yesterday the little place I like to have a beer and eat at had the fuxking British Open on all 3 TVs. couldn't change any of them until those two groups left and then back to normal. I often wonder about people who watch golf, so they watch turtle races? paint dry?

I like bass fishing shows and such. I don't watch hunting shows, mostly because I don't hunt I suppose. I will watch golf now and again but not regularly. I may have seen an hour of coverage total of the Open and that's because it was on at the bar.
I also don't watch much professional basketball or baseball anymore. I do watch a lot of hockey and football, but that's about it.
I do watch Tiger when I see him playing, poorly or not.

I don't like watching bass fishing shows in the winter, miss my boat too much.

I don't see him getting the same respect as Palmer, Nicholas, Watson, Ballesteros,Trevino ie.
He's not riding off into the sunset like these guys.

I'm not a golfer tried 3-4 x's many years ago it was fun going out with friends but getting up at 6:00 am or shooting 9 after work wasn't worth my time to get better at it.

The only reason I would even keep the channel on golf was Tiger was playing anybody else I would rather watch paint dry.
