jack, what makes a party great are the people, anything else is really secondary. all of the people there were very lively & friendly & we had a great time.

that said, i'm turned off by cheapness &/or pettiness(sp?). as you said a hotel off the beaten path should have appreciated all of the business they were given by the group, instead of pinching pennies. and fletcher shouldn't have to confront this hotel about their actions. they should thank you & fletcher for bringing the people to their hotel.
