sorry i fuhked your thread up :D

check ebay motors. i'm looking, as we speak, for an escolade (sp) for my GF. they have a lot of good deals on all cars.

i never bought used cars until i bought my deville. best car i ever bought. 1 year old, low miles and full warranty. can't go wrong and you save a TON. a 48k car for 32k? only one year old and showroom condition? can't go wrong.

I did the same thing when I bought my expedition 1year and a few months old 47k got it at 30 something I don't remember exactly. I know we saved a ton of $$ and everything is custom (all the extras) I wouldn't have the patience enough to have done and wait for myself LOL the only thing that kills me is to replace things like the ashtray I broke by leaving it on the running board to dry after I cleaned it then slammed the door on it:eek: costs $75 to replace $75 for an ashtray GEEEEEZ

SORRY TV for helping Jack highjack your thread :D

BTW JACK would you help this poor guy get the spider man avatar ? ? He's been having avatar problems while you were away :D

In my opinion.

I saw somewhere that in the next few years Sony is coming out with another version of the PS2 with a built in 120 GB hard drive and a DVD recorder and some other cool stuff. If I find the specs on it I will pass them on.

Right Here
The best two systems out right now are the XBOX and the playstation2. Both cost $179. Here's the +'s & -'s of both.

-XBox
Is the most powerful system out right now. Comes with network adapter and hard drive to play online, but you have to buy a subscribtion to the XBOX live service ($50 a year i think). XBOX's online service is freakin amazing but only available to broadband users. In order to use as a DVD player you have buy a $20 remote control.

-PS2
The PS2 is very comparable to the XBOX graphically and has many more games available. In order to play online you have to buy a network adapter but there is no overall subscription (however each individual game can have a fee, but most don't). Will play DVD's right out of the box, but the remote is extra.

The XBOX 2 and PS3 will both be out, I believe, by Christmas 2004. Both are rumored to ship with built in hard drives, progressive scan DVD capability, and PVR functions.

The Nintendo Gamecube is also available but I have no experience with it.

If you do get an XBOX the first game you get has to be HALO. I've played every video game system since intellivision and this is the greatest freakin game I have ever played.

xbox is the best, hands down. Halo 2 comes out late winter/early spring too, and that's worth it in itself. I haven't played xbox online, but I here that rocks as well.

I had the ps2 and sold it to one of Taoist's friend..
must have games for PS2:

NCAAF 2003
Madden 2003
Navy Seals
GTA3

Currently, I have the x-box system and Halo is hands down the best game out there and I can't wait for Halo2
;)

In the upcoming year ps3 will be coming out, and from what I am hearing, it will kick ass!

For gamers, the next couple of years is going to be awesome. I am not one, so I will not directly benefit from this. Two giants, Microsoft and Sony, are going head to head trumping each other's best shots. I don't think you are going to go wrong with either system, but I have my money on Microsoft to be the overall champion when it is all said and done. They have way too much cash flow to be beat. This is an industry that they have targeted to dominate! I think Sony is in trouble in the long run.

I played Halo at my neighbor's house the other day on-line. Since I'm not a gamer it wasn't very fun because I was the guy that got picked on for a half an hour!
