buddy...this is a very difficult and thoughtful question...
according to 'the world dna project', indians are of chinese descent.....
which is where we get the phrase,"red chinese"....:SIB
now....if the native americans are of chinese ancestry, why is it i can't get a dad-gum order of egg foo young at "vejias casino" just outside san diego?.......
but,i digress....where were we?....
speaking of the "navajo code talkers".....some of them referred to themselves as "indios"...and some as "indegenas".....
but,there was such enmity between the "crows",the "huron",the "iroquois" and the "lakota",that the common "chink "aspect of their ancestry didn`t amount to a bag of raman noodles...
