Yep......that "Bicycle shop" episode is maybe the best hour of tv ever. I mean it just doesn't get any better then that.

I'm assuming Adelaide is dead since she was like 160 at the time of the show. And don't forget Janet Jackson, who played Charlene Dupree, she's still alive and well. Come on, how could you forget about Ms. Jackson if yo' nasty? :nono:

I am still confused how Jack could think Gary Coleman played Tatoo?

I thought he was going to correct himself by saying "I can't believe the black guy from Love Boat died."

This is actually kinda sad to me. I saw an extensive interview with the guy, and he seemed like a guy who had been dealt some bad hands. A bunch of losers for family/managers. He came off as quite articulate and interesting, if not a little paranoid.:sadwave:

:142smilie :142smilie That seriously made my day. I'm not the 'LOL' type, but when I read that I laughed out loud. I immediately pictured Gary Coleman looking up at the sky and saying 'Da plane! Da plane!'. Maybe Mr. Drummond could play Montalban's part?

I agree. Cheesy or not, this is one of the shows I grew up on. It sucks seeing guys like Gary Coleman and John Ritter go way before their time.

You're just jealous that you weren't home to watch it. And they didn't have DVR back then, so you were SOL. ;)

Only if there was DVR back in those days.

Technology growth didn't happen fast enough for you.

On a sidenote Tatoo died like 15 years ago.

I know that and it wasn't that long, I don't think?

Isaac the bartender didn't die, did he? I did watch that show on the reruns in the early 80's :142smilie

I had a thing for Julie :0074

I was never a fan of FI, but I remember seeing a biography on ol' Herve a few years ago. The only thing I remember from that show is that he was apparently a HUGE hit with the ladies. The people they interviewed said his manwhoring ways were legendary.

Tatoo died in '93 and Isaac from Love Boat is alive and well.

Tatoo(Herv? Villechaize) checked out via suicide.

I thought dead short people was the topic.

I guess this is a Gary only thread.

Gary was excellent in "The Kid from left field."

Gary was excellent in "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh".

That was my bad with the thread title. I should have titled it 'Gary Coleman dead at 42, and Herve Villechaise, French midget and lover of women, dead at 50 -- 17 years ago.'

Tatoo could lay some pipe. For a little shaver he was packing a big one. Wife has a picture of him in an old Playgirl. If I remember he wasn't much on length but had some nice gurth.
