gas prices and the truckers

jack can't use that language in here. but i have heard plenty.
most truckers are not owner/operators since it cost a fortune to do that, but i bet alot of the owner/operator on sitting on the sideline waiting this out right now.
most truckers work for somebody else, so they really don't give a chit, but i imagine all the shipping companies are making enormous price increases to offset. look for the post office to hike stamps big time soon and i know ups won't hesitate to offset. And i am sure airflight will catch up also. Really sucks gonna send us right into a recession and their goes my gambling money, LOL!!

Jack Have a few trucking firms as clients and at times they hedge with gas futures to offset huge price increases--still hard on them though.
Even are pizza delivery guy the other night said. Sorry but we just added a 2 dollar charge because of gas prices. Hey at 2.79 a gallon I figured I saved 79 cents towards his tip. The grass fertilizer guy today said there was a extra dollar charge do to the gas prices. I mean everyone seems to be passing it on..

I do most times pick it up. Hell like to help keep the pizza delivery guy in a job. I'm looking for ways to pass it on. And I call it ride my bike. Then I can smile going by the station.

While I understand it's hard on the truckers, hell, it's hard on everyone... Oil prices suck.... Damn gas went up 25 cents today for christ's sake... Bush says he's "releasing some reserves" - guess it don't matter if the price of gas doesn't go down.... Shiat is kiling me!!! :cursin:
