I'm not sure why anyone thinks that equality amongst all our citizens is something to be denied any race, class, culture, or group. This is not a question of religious principles add church has no place in govenment in any form. The Constitution affords liberty to all of the citizens of our nation and some still think that's an arguable position.
Nobody has the right to impose their beliefs on another, especially religious deity. If you don't agree with gay marriage, tough shit, deal with it. You'll not be harmed. You're not going to have to suck a dick if you witness a gay couple getting married, or even hold one in your mouth if you see two gay men kissing in public. Not that there is anything wrong with that. If you see two men displaying public affection, and it bothers you, I'm sorry. Those two have been watching heterosexuals kiss in public and on TV their entire lives and they have somehow managed not to be sickened.
On a more important note, I want to congratulate the entire community on a courageous, and inspiring battle to affect positive change in society and government. Your determination and dedication to the cause, the swiftest in modern history, is admirable. Your community has done what most the rest of us are wont to do, actually get out and protest, activate and educate. We all complain about everything yet do nothing except make a post on social media. We all can do more, we choose not to. Congratulations again.
Hope this helps,
