Ohio but not a Buckeye
This is one game I wanna stay away from.

GB's strength is Dallas's weekness. Dallas has good run DEF, GB has a good DEF overall. Too much into it to figure it out.

That bet was locked in a week ago. Thursday's USA Today line.

Oh, and I pay the day after I lose a wager around here. Unlike some people who need to be chased down............

Here's some notes I made on these teams when they were playing yesterday. Please comment.

green bay/det notes
Saipaia has 50 pounds on Kampman and he just got rammed backward into Kitna like an idiot when he came in. Kampman is phenomenal.
Kampman and KGB made it real hard on Kitna, but KGB injured at 7 min 2nd qtr and didn't play 2nd half. Romo will probably have to throw a lot of the short passes due to pressure.
I've heard a lot about how horrible green bays guards are, so I was on the lookout for bad play from them. at 1:00 2nd I saw Spitz let his guy (Langston) just barge right by in the A gap, and the tackle Tauscher blew his assignment too. Then Spitz did it again the next play. Overall though I didn't see anything to think they were about to get benched or anything. How does GB usually do against a good pass rush though? I'll have to look into this.
announcers made a big deal about how Detroit's big guy #92 had not been able to do much on defense. I agree with this.
I continue to not be impressed with GB's running game, even though Grant got 100 yards and Detroit has #8 run defense.

Dallas/NY notes
Newman looked really fast when he cut in front of Cotchery for the interception
Romo underthrew the ball a bunch of times on long passes that could easily have been interceptions. He's really good at the short passes though
I saw TO and the TE's streak downfield a lot with several steps on the defenders and no one in front of them.
Dallas pass protection is good. pass rush good.

I'm luckey enough to be going to the Game. One Game a year and I picked this one...figured it may be the last time to see Favre...Guess not.

Should be a Great Game...

It will be a cold day in hell before I cave in to the
NFL greedy bastids. I'd rather spend 10x more
$$$ at the local watering hole than cave in to
those pricks. I do think they regret their greedy
decision.

MJ, Comcast does offer it in my region....for 5 bucks a month.

Kramer, Jerry Jones has MAJOR INTEREST IN THE NFL NETWORK and he is PLEADING for EVERYONE to drop the cable entities they deal with if they DO NOT offer the NFL network. I thought about it.....3-5 bucks A MONTH from about 150 MILLION subscribers HMMMM. Im glad I have the advantages of being able to watch Directv.....and not have to suffer the faults and flaws that others may experience.

I think this is TOTAL BS, probably the BEST GAME OF THE YEAR INVOLVING 2 NFC TEAMS(I am biased to NFC although as of late AFC has ruled) and MOST wont be ablt to see it

to add nfl network with comcast is 2.99 per month, however all you have to do is order it the day of the game and then cancel when it is over...then it only costs you like 30 cents to watch the game

the NFL network is about 5 bucks a month here too. I just ask my wife to skip a cup at Starbucks and its paid for. Worth it for the replays on demand.

comcast is lower than ballsweat......they charge you for a hi-def hook-up.....then,if you want to watch a boxing or ppv broadcast in hi-def,they charge you an extra $10......the old double whammy....

verizon is hanging lines all around my neighborhood...fiber optic cable, not copper....

i can`t wait...i`m signing up for their cable, high speed internet...the whole shebang....just to stick it to those greedy comcast s.o.b.`s.....
