Good morning MJ racing fans... .. fan?

Got that ole $92 and $98 winner feeling today. Yet, there are very deservingly favorites in two of the races I like, but, if they're off their game (like I waz yesterday).... LOOK OUT, PHILLY, cause I'm in a "Steaming n Smokin" (RIP, Joe) mood today.

Lean ... normally a competitive 6 horse field is a No Play. Give the no. 3, Lake Friends, a look and if he looks good - he's a play in the FIRST RACE.

4th race
This race has one of the deserving favorites :(
No. 1 or 1A will prob. be scratched, even if one is... an across the board play on no. 1 or 1A is warranted, prob. double or triple up on the Show part. 1-5-7 or 1-6-7 looks like trifecta boxes. Can't pass up on the 1s if either goes off at anything close to it's morning line odds.

6th race
Mooch/Guerrero usually means WEINER and it wouldn't surprise me if that happens. I'll be TAKING MY CHANCES hammering the no. 3 hoss in this one. Tries, Zacks, W/P/Sh ... don't know yet. Tries look like 2-6-7 and 3-6-7 boxed. Another $92 horsie weiner?... that could be no. 7 Radio Row. If either the no. 3 or the 7 are close to being a "10" in the prerace - I just may get out the BIG BUCKS for this race. That would be bigger than $20s. :scared
IF either looks like a deadhead - don't waste yer moola on it.

7th race .. don't ask me why I studied this race. I ONLY study races that are playable (that's a key thing to do) and I just started capping this race without checking. Maybe that's an omen... anyway, the play would be no. 3 top/bot with the 1,2,6. HOPEFULLY, I won't be playing ANTHING after the 6th cause, IF I do fill the shopping bag up , I'll just be counting moola while the rest of the races are running. BTW, remember what I wrote yesterday bout NOT playing a race with a NON Philly dirt bag in it that looks good. Well, there I go.. the no. 3 is just one of them visitor's to Philly. Like yesterday, just too tough to lay off this hoss. we'll see what happens.

9th race is a good race. Like I wrote, this race has one of them "unbeatable" favorites. That would be no. 1 hoss, South Fleet.
The VERY tempting longshots? CLEARLY, the 6,8,10. I won't be passing up a win or Win/Place wager on two of them.. prob. the 6 and 10, but I gotta see them.

G.L.

Maybe it's a good thing that there's nobody here today; I'm making some bone head moves. In the second race, I like the way the nos. 1 and 2 looked and BOTH were double digit odds. I had them marked down to go with the 3,5,6 in zacktas. Sounds like too many bets for such a small field but if either the no. 1 or no. 2 hit the zacta, it should be well worthwhile.

What do I do... cross out the dang 6 to make it - 1,2 top/bot with 3/5. SON -AH- MA- BEACH!

Looking forward to that 6th race.

Don't mind "talking to myself" cause I know that this thing will go WAY over 50 hits tonight when the Peepers stop in to see how they woulda done today.

UT.. wait a minute... Hammy's here. :00hour

I used to skip races that have first time starters. Today, I'm watching the races live and that there no. 6 hoss in the 3rd looked pretty good in the prerace. I see that his workouts look good for today's race and he's got Flores on him. Took a shot with the first timer.. a WEINER. Besides the W/Pl bet , of course I boxed him with the no. 2 who just missed getting 2nd. The 6 paid ~$20 to win. I gotta start looking at first time starters.

Was it last week or two weeks ago that I hit that huge zacta with 2 first timers? Just noted them in the prerace and they were the ONLY two I had marked down for that race too. Gotta follow up on that stuff.

I was looking forward to hitting this no. 3 really good.. not the way he looks though. Still, I'll bet him but back to $2 and $5 :(

No. 7 doesn't look so hot either.. $2s. :(

GOOD ENOUGH... $2 works with 24-1 in Zactas..

The no. 5 looked best in the prerace and I got that one Win/Place (too bad they bet him down, but they REALLY bet down that no. 6 and he looked terrible).

edited (results) -> :director: WHAT THEE EL
I got back about the same amount for the no. 5 w/pl as the exacta??? The 3/5 shot isn't in exacta and the 7 is at 24-1 and the exacta only pays $114? SHEEEET

The more I look at that no. 10 in the last race, the more I wish they didn't scratch him. He fit VERY nicely in this field, better than the 6 or the 8.
Man, just like this place, I don't see a sole at the track. Depressing.

editing... to make matters worse, I'm liking the 4 and the 5 now. Thinking about "going home" with the loot.

Well, I gotta see them and then decide.

Well, no. 1 is clearly the on paper pick and no. 8 is the LOOKER (far from a "10" though). Guess that means (1) you don't let the 8 get away with some across the board action.

The no. 1 goes in exactas with longshots. include the 4 and 5 with them.
