Any other massive upsets that Madjackers can think of?

Buster Douglas's name has become synonymous with gigantic sporting upsets since his remarkable KO win over Mike Tyson 30 years ago.

Douglas was a 42-1 underdog against Tyson when he shocked the world the first time around. Tyson was undefeated at 37-0 with 33 knockouts.[/QUOTE]

He was 5 to 1 just before the fight sharp $$$

Actually after you placed your wager on Buster Douglas to win by KO in the 10th round, Buster Douglas was a -9999 fave to win the fight.

When you called 1-800-AVRIL in 2003

and almost won the date with Avril Lavigne and a role in the complicated video, but you came in 2nd place and a guy named Josh won

odds were 88,83343 - 1

The Mirage was the only book in Vegas to have odds on the fighters. 42-1 is where it ended, and they never took a bet at those odds.

I can rememember Mick Gibbs posting in here in early May of 2001. He was asking the board if he should hedge his bet.

I hope your jesting here zoomer..how many times do you get a chance to win half a mill??? A person that wouldn't HEDGE that kind of action on a 30 cent bet needs a psycoligist or a lesson in economics...LOL

I read he HEDGED 10 grand...LOL I personally would have mortgaged the house if I had to but I would have had 200 grand hedged and still would ha e been glad to pick up 400 thousand
