Giants now stand at 11-11 since this post (with a gimme sweep vs Colorado) Now that they are playing on the road against better quality teams, they are no longer hitting RHP like at the start of the season. That was a complete anomoly. They have scored just 5 runs in their last 3 games, and now face Pablo Lopez and the red hot Twins tomorrow, and then come home and face some quality teams in which (no doubt) they will be heavy favorites. I STILL believe that the Giants are highly overrated and will be a nice fade in the coming few weeks. I hate to keep beating this to death, but figuring out teams that are underrated and overrated since the start of the season is a nice key to handicapping.
Dude i just mentioned this in another post not 2 min ago.
The offense doesnt add up, the pitching is built for that ballpark, and while i think Yaz is
Never fails. lolLOL.......just as I add to this thread for the 1rst time in 2 months, the Giants go out and "throttle" the Braves 2 nights in a row! Still think they are a below average team though.
yes it has risen.......and what is funny is that every month of so when I update this, they go on a "roll' starting almost the very next day. This lasts for a couple of days and then they go right back in the tank again! It's uncanny! They are now DUE to have a big letdown "according to form" lolAlthough to be fair, the offense has ‘risen’ as of late.
Still an awful team. If theres a no hitter this yr it will be against SF, min, clev, sf, or cincy
The rockies or pitt are technically worst in mlb in offense but they dont K as much as the above
