Almost 40 years ! Texas voting in LBJ is understandable Hedge, and let me tell you, I know quite a bit about LBJ, I have spent quite a bit of time drinking and hunting in Blanco and Johnson City. Hanging with the locals because a good friend of mine has a 400 acre ranch in Blanco. My father was a Secret Service Agent for LBJ, and the stories I have heard about being in Blanco, well, I will stop there.
Quite a big CHANGE for the LOAN STAR STATE voting in a Outsider, Democrat, and with that name and then the pigmentation. Leads me to believe that Texas was pretty pissed off at all Hat no Cowboy ?
That would be great if this was a perfect country but it isn't and people have to get over it.. Cutting out welfare would 1. increase the crime rate significantly 2. make our health care even worse because the care would still get provided.
Also, I am not saying Obama has done a great job but at least he is trying. He wants to be helpful and he wants the US to succeed. That is more than I can say about the idiot who was at the helm the 8 years before that.. I know the right doesn't want to be blamed anymore but that fucking regime didn't help at all.
Obama is doing a shit job, but yes, he is better than the dude before him....barely.
