it at least means that there was probably a background check and that it was decided that this guy was stable enough to carry a weapon...

it rules out that this guy didn`t just burglarize a home and steal the gun....

the i.d. thing is the part that bothers me....what if there was a warrant out on the guy...maybe the wife had a restraining order against him for abuse....

i think this civil libertarian crap has gone too far...imo,if a police officer asks you to identify yourself,you should HAVE TO identify yourself or be forced to take a trip to the station.....

in a civilized society,having i.d. on you isn`t a burden unless you`re a criminal or an asshole....

it`s important for everyone`s safety...our wives,kids,mothers and fathers are out on the streets doing the right thing going about their business.... i want the cops to be able to remove or at least check idiots like the guy in the above video...

Why do we have borders if we don't care who anyone is anymore? The funny thing is......every asshole recording shit like this, DEMANDS to know the name and badge number of the cop he encounters!!!! Why doesn't the cop play the same game back?

Now, I think cops should be honest. BUT, in cases like this......the cop should have cuffed and detained this clown, and told him that he had three separate citizens come up to him ANONYMOUSLY, and report a man fitting his description pointing a gun at them. Now, you are suspected of a crime, and I need your ID. Don't have any? Let's take a ride until we can confirm who you are, sir.

I don't want to make a point with law enforcement. Why throw up a flag with a group of people who can easily deny you several rights?

There need to be be more police oficers like this guy, but... he should have, could have searched his vehicle, maybe, not knowing what Jeremy was pulled over for.
