have film makers stopped making good movies these days.i enjoy two types of movies the gangster films and the really scary movies.goodfellas,scarface,bronx tale,serpico help me out guys if you can add to the list.my scary movies friday the 13th the first one,phycho,exorcist,nightmare on elm street,halloween,i want to rent some good movies over the allstar break.gangster and scary movies only im not in the mood for love stories.

If you are into very bloody sci fi movies, then rent Starship Troopers. It is a low budget but very very entertaining.
juice-was robert denero in the movie casino i think i saw bits and parts but dont remember it.that might be a good choice.
Well, not much for horror but I must agree with Juice. "Casino" is a GREAT movie period. "Heat" with DeNiro is great also and a older movie if you can find it is "Year Of The Dragon" with Mickey Rourke as a Chinatown cop.
visionary-i want to thank you i forgot about cookoos nest classic.that was such a sad ending there was so many feel good scenes in that movie.that is one of the movies i will get during the break.how about when hes playing cards with the nuts hit me, hit me,hit me,jesus ------- christ you got 22 showing hit me.do you ------- nuts want to play cards or what.there was cheswick,martini,chief,nurse rachett,billy boy,can somebody name the rest of the characters.
whenever I take the collar on a sunday afternoon I go and rent shawshank redemption....."HOPE".....what a classic!!

im not a big john wayne fan i think clint eastwood westerns are the best.the good,the bad ,and the ugly,hang em high.i love clint eastwoods westerns now that hes older its not the same i see him playing golf its ugly he sucks at golf and no he doesnt smoke those famous cigars he would smoke in his movies.
Don't under any circumstances see AI. It is so boring and long and utterly stupid. Ten thumbs down.
buddy i agree i went out and bought that movie.i love the part when the bikies were acting up in the bar.and sonny locks the door and says o.k. now yous cant leave.some of the guys in this forum remind me of mush.joe pesci was good in the gangster movies.he had a small part in bronx tale.sonny was right he always said nobody cares aint that the truth.
