I'm still around.... Day 9.... Although I haven't followed my own (and others') advice about putting down the booze, I'm still with you on the non-smoking train.... ;)

...been really busy at work...plus we're approaching my "sportsbetting downtime" for a couple of months. I try to wait until late May early June before hitting the bases too hard.... I'll be around though...just probably not on a daily basis. Keep up the good work, Jack and everyone else that's still committed to kicking this nasty habit. :)

isn't it nice to be able to take a huge deep breath without wheezing or coughing? how about multiple consecutive deep breaths without the wheezing or coughing? and i mean a deep breath that i wasnt capable of taking a couple weeks ago.

that said i wish i could have JUST one smoke  i guess i'll always want one for the rest of my days. ugh!

before i quit (and it's been 12 smokeless days out of the last 15 days) i wasn't sure my lungs would clear up like they did the last time i quit. i used to always tell my dad that after 5 days "your lungs will clear and you won't cough anymore, dad". his lungs never did clear up and the coughing never did stop until his breathing stopped altogether.

it was too late for him but i'm glad it wasn't too late for me. hopefully.

This is my 9th day. Sometimes the cravings and temptations are like a punch in the gut, but every day gives me more confidence.

I AM A NONSMOKER!

day 2.. no Gum
Day 15, no cigarettes.

Life is good and everyone loves the new Chuckd! I wish I would have quit sooner but am happy I finally made the last smoking day March 20th!

Anytime I have a craving, i just tell the people sitting close to me that I am not a smoker. They said good for you and the craving is gone. AHHH feels good the breath probably and not cough in the morning.
