since you can't change the format of the contest lol, sounds ok. I like the 5 payouts as well, or maybe just make it 3. Decide that when we figure out how many people are in. Any buy weeks or penalty for not making picks in a week?

Jack, it wouldn't be that hard to have *varied $$ amt* depositors all in one contest.... i'll try and post an example tomorrow, but we have school registrations going on for the next couple of days, so it may take until Thursday.
some kids might already be missing school..... we have 5 schools in our district that are on *balanced schedules* .... my elementary kids school isn't air conditioned so they are on a normal schedule still...... (and probably most on the team either go to his school or a private school, which i know for sure 3 of them do) and they don't start until August 29th either.... (the finals are on August 28th, so they would get home JUST in time to start school on time after the past month that they've had being home only about 5 days.) it's just REGISTRATION (pay up) time the next couple of days....most kids don't start school yet, but if there are any in balanced schools, they are gone with excused absenses just like the FL kids
Jack, I'll do the contest for $100. But if you want we can go heads up for a dime or something for fun. Or maybe have an additional one with a few people on here for a nickel. Your words good with me. Whatever works. Just thinking out loud again. let me know.

As Rex said, I think we can get some interest in at least a nickel for some members.
Also, if you are ever interested in contest formats for football a few of us tried a dog contest last year. The format was pretty simple. Pick 3 dogs each week and if they win the game straight up you get whatever they were getting for points.
Most points at the end of the year won.
For example put the lines out at begginning of week, don't move em. You have to pick 3 dogs. Lets say you take Arizona +6 or something as one of your picks. They have to win the game. If they do, then you get 6 points. If they lose and cover or lose period you get nothing.
Made it interesting to see people at the end picking +14 dogs to try and catch points.
Might sound stupid to some, but it was fun.
