STFU, you douchebag.

And who again are you?

Then again, who really cares who you are?

As far as being a douchebag, I've seen enough evidence, with some of your stupid ass posts over the years, to know who the douchebag is here ....:mj07:

Yeah, but the myopic turd with a hugh chip on his Brett Favre jersey can't see that.

IF YOU READ MY POST, I said they lost 4 games recently by less than 4 points.

Some guys know how to win, some guys don't.

You really don't think Rodgers INT to end the game (due to kneeldowns) didn't make a big difference?

See, if they drive the field there, they score and win the game.

Jeesh.. some people don't understand football - especially the intangibles that come along with playing with an NFL legend.

All I can say is 13-3 last year, 5-7 this year. Only 1 significant personnel difference - Brett Favre.

I'm here... alas, Rogers cannot lead the Packers to a W again.... he can't seem to lead the Packers to win in the close games - Big interception thrown by Rodgers to seal the deal late.....

The Packers have lost 4 games by 4 points or less this year.... they only lost 3 games TOTAL last year...

Hmmm... one wonders if they kept the right QB...:mj07:

There were winning by 3 with under 2 minutes left.As usual there D cant preserve a lead, never mind keep them out of the endzoze.
Arron Rodgers threw for 3TDS,Passed for 298 yards. You odviously know nothing about football.

You also make a weak argument. He had 1:30 sec. left to drive them down to a winning TD ,not FG.And twice they had the lead and twice there D blew and you know it!!Get a life,Really.

One more thought to ponder.Every time you put your offense behind the 8ball,your set up to fail .

Your D must make a stand.Theres no excuses.
Believe me,I know watching the Pats as they have similuar problems as GB,no excuses, stop your crying.

Jeesh, Rusy, how many times do you see high scoring games like that - where the last team to have the ball wins.

Jake Delhomme didn't cry - he lead Carolina to a TD.

Rodgers throw a terrible pick - not even close to the receiver.

They had PLENTY of time to score a TD.

This situation occurs every week in the NFL - you see all the stats about the greats and how many 4th quarter comebacks they lead. It's not about a QB's overall stats for the game - it's about can they come through when in counts.

The great ones do it - the not so great ones do not.

In close games, the D plays a part, but so does the QB. Good teams, with good QB, win close games.

This Packer team has no heart, and no leadership within the ranks. Understandable, when you lose your heart and leadership ability in one guy to the NYJ.

I certainly have my right to point out (as many NFL analysts have) that trading Favre was a terrible move - one of the worst in NFL history (if not THE worst).

Just like you have a right to feel the opposite way.

Making it personal with insults - well, name calling and saying "get a life" is more a 4th graders sytle.... kinda like YYZ's response.

I can tell you that many, many Packer fans up here feel the same way. It's not a Favre luvfest as much as it is extreme disappointment that Ted Thompson put his ego in front of fielding the best Packer team he could this year.

As a community owned team (yes, I am a stockholder), we are used to football decisions made by football people, not by a person who just wanted to stroke his own ego.

And that is what sucks for GB fans. We were sold out.

Yes, the D could be better. But on the other hand, the D this year has scored 10 touchdowns, which is an alltime record. So, they have done some postiive things and some bad things.

Let's see how you feel in the offseason when your GM trades your franchise QB and MVP winner (only 1 I think) for a 3rd round draft pick and hand the reins to Cassell.

It's not quite the same, as you already know what you have in Cassell - as he's played a lot this year. We had no idea what we had in Rodgers - and really still don't.

Regardless, you wouldn't be happy to see Brady traded for garbage, I'm sure. Either would the rest of the Pats fans.

Get over it .Brett Farve ant walking in that door.
Sorry if I offended you ,but just makes me angry ,that someone could think that one person matters that much.

Im watching the Pats game now,I know that under different circumstances were playing with a different QB and were toast. But the reason were losing this game is cause our team is just not good enough.

I refuse to blame Cassel for this pending loss.Maybe the Steelers are just better, just like Carolina is better.

One other thing.Didnt GB fans hold a save Farve rally last year before this all went down? How many showed up??Less then a hundred!!You other fans feel the same way to.Then were were they then??Please!!The reality is your team just ant that good and in my opinion one of there strongers positions are QB and WRS.There weak at RB and D.Cheers!

On the course!
Mags, your "hero" has two fumbles and a pick that gave Denver 14 points today.

Make all the excuses you want. The whole fucking forum knows you're the only one STILL crying about this shit.

(Oh, and it's a pretty safe bet Favre will have more turnovers today trying to get the Jets back into the game, since they are down in the 4th quarter. The only difference is, he actually put them there, where Rodgers didn't put the Pack in that spot........suck on that for a while.)

I see the "golden boy" just under threw a wide open reciever on 3rd and three, and the Broncos have the ball again..........

Starting to think it was me.I follow Rodgers cause I have him on my fantasy team.Im 9-4 finished 3rd maybe 2nd with help going into playoffs.

I think the loses to the NYG for both GB and NE have had big effects on there seasons this year.
I know NE has tons of problems on the D side of the ball.To blame one person is just crazy.

You guys have no where to go but up.
Remember when people were saying that Rodgers wouldnt last hist first injury.Didnt he play with a sprained shoulder for a month. You guys have a keeper in Rodgers, trust me.

The whole STATE was crying about how he'd be done for the season by mid October! Guys like Mags are pissed because that's just one more thing they can't throw in everyone elses face!

I just don't understand why ANYONE who calls themself a Packer fan wouldn't get behind this kid already!

You'll never understand. And I won't keep stooping to your level with the personal insults... I'll leave that to you.

But consider this the curse of "Ray Allen". You may or may not follow all the state's teams, but trading Ray Allen was the kiss of death for the Bucks' franchise. They still haven't recovered.

In 10 years, we will still be longing for the Favre years. The effect a legend has on a WHOLE team in terms of effort and heart cannot be overstated. It's something that can't be measured by stats. It's why Favre has led a 4 win team to 8 wins this year. Other guys play better when with a legend (IMHO).

I feel strongly that you don't EVER trade a legend - for any reason. Elway wasn't traded by Denver, Montana was always hurt and had too short of a career to be a legend (IMHO), Fran Tarkenton wasn't traded, Marino wasn't traded.

You just don't trade a legend - it's like spittin' on Superman's cape, or peeing in the wind.

TT has made a lot of bad moves the last couple of years - not just Favre. Picking up Frost 3 days before the season began was a doozy. Drafting J. Harrell and J. Nelson (where this pick should have been used to help the "D") were others. He had a nice start in GB, but has been terrible the last few years. We'll see it the next 5-6 years with a mediocre team.

Nobody trades a legend. Not Cal Ripken, Not Derek Jeter. The Red Sox did it (actually sold) Babe Ruth - look how long that curse lasted.

It'll be interesting to see how long the curse of Favre lasts..... AND how long TT lasts.... my hunch is that he will be shown the door after this year, but we'll see.

Alot of people have finished there career somewhere else after playing somewhere for a long time. Why should a trade matter either way.

As far as the Bucks trading Allen the curse:mj07: :mj07: :142smilie The Bucks !!

So, now you believe in curses, too?

Makes understanding everything else a little easier.

Green Bay might have Rodgers for the next 15 years for all we know! But, had Favre stuck around another year, Rodgers was gone!!!!!!

To the organization........he wasn't worth it.

You can't buy that? So be it. I'm still guessing "we'll" be just fine without you, and back in the playoffs before too many seasons pass by.

(Oh, and you can bet I'll be sure to remind you every step of the way, as long as this site exists.)

As I have said before one can debate the Favre issue. I think it was a mistake. But setting that debacle aside, Ted Thompson has done the franchise a terrible disservice. He did absolutely nothing in the offseason to try and majke the team better. Nothing to add quality depth. Green Bay had the most available cap room in the NFL and did nothing. In fact GB had to give Rodgers an extension just to meet this years MINIMUM team salary requirements - I bet many folks didnt even know there is such a thing. And a 13-3 team is now 5-7 in one of the worst divisions of the NFL.
