Hope it is a sign of good things to come for ACC.
NC State may not beat St Louis but if they do I will play them in matchup w Louisville.
The vaulted press will not stop Lewis and Barber.
State loves it when teams press them. They get the ball to Warren over mid court and he finds a way to score.
I predict St Louis will force State to play half court game which they have trouble with.
Play under in St Louis/ State game but play State if they advance.
ACC 1-0.

Louisville will blow them out if they get past St. Louis. So they beat the X-men. That's not saying a whole lot. Besides beating Pitt & cuse this year they've beaten nobody in a weak ACC conference this year. What's unc Greensboro a quality win? Not trying to b an ass or start trouble but I just think Louisville will blow their doors off & don't think they get past a good defensive St. Louis team. Good luck in your tourney & I hope the pack do make a run for ya. & the heels too cause I got a future on them b4 the season but not too confident w that play at the moment...& may hop along w that under play. Maybe 1st half under too.

Why would Louisville blow them out? What non conference win was a good win?
I have seen NC State play many times. A half court team gives them the most trouble. Pressing teams they do better against.
Check the wins for Louisville. Very few were impressive except for conference games.
Look what UNC and UK did to Louisville and they both had mediocre years.
Warren scores 40 versus Louisville if they press the whole game.

I think State is a dangerous team and also just a pretty good team right now. Not sure they deserved a bid based on their resume...but they did have a couple tough losses where refs came into play. I'm happy for them.

That said, and no offense, but its always a pet peeve of mine to say a team deserved an invite based on a tournament game. If this team was 0-32 for the season and beat Florida in the 1st Round....would they have proved they deserved a bid?

Like I say, I understand the rationale, but keep hearing it every year. The only thing that makes a team deserve or not deserve a bid is what happened before selection, not after. And believe me, people said the same thing when UNC got in after going 7-9 and making it to final 4 years ago. And I told them the same thing.

Anyway, hope NCSU makes a deep run. How about a UNC/NCSU Championship Game. Oh man, that would be epic lol

St Louis can easily beat State tonight. St. Louis plays like Miami and Clemson who beat State by 15 and 17 points. March 9th I was at BC/State game and BC came back from 12 point deficit by playing slow methodical half court basketball. It was only after Barber was inserted into the lineup and State got some steals that the game turned back for the Pack.
I will watch for line movement but may be playing St. Louis tonight.

NCST one of my favorite teams in this thing but I am leaning heavy on STL as well. NCST has made me some serious cash lately as has VA, my other team I'd like to see go far in this thing.

Good luck, man. :toast:

St Louis is my favorite play today.

I see line is now 3.5. Do not know much about StLouis. Their center Loe likes to shoot threes but has only .25 shooting percentage.
Looks like he will draw Vanderburg away from basket. Loe is from New Zealand and Vanderburg is Aussie. Good matchup.
To me Glaze for St Louis is the key. He is shorter than Warren but may be able to do a good job holding him to 20 points.
If St Louis can keep it low scoring they will win.

If TJ can limit his touch fouls, Pack has a good chance....Agree they need an up-tempo game...Should be good game..:0corn
