It will be a while before we get another dog, I get too emotionally attached, having put to sleep 2 cocker spaniels within the last two years has been tough, especially when both never made it to 10 years old my female died of kidney failure and Bailey from cancer, I am going to make sure I am ready before we jump into owning another dog.
