why get so worked up about 1.2 billion "disappearing" in yet another war profiteering scandal Sponge? What is really important is the 1mil being wasted on feeding the children of innercity black kids whose parents are addicted to crack. Oh yeah, and the NYT only prints negative articles. Thats what is really important. Viva La China.

Idiotic Caller Supporting the Raping and Pillaging of the United States to Sean Hannity:
"You are a great American"

Dumb Ass, American Flag waving dipshit Sean Hannity to caller:
"You are a great American"

Now that is some Orwellian tragic comedy.

What I worry about is those companies we need if big crunch comes. They no longer can build everything as we could in WWII/Korea & Nam. No way can a tank get build 1 every 30 minutes. Or liberty ships to haul supplies one a week. And most were done by Rose and her woman friends and old men. The young ones were fighting the war. At least during WWII. We have sent to much over seas. That's our biggest sin. And no one has said much about over last 20 years. Clinton and Bushs both 1 & 2 should be put in jail.

Jabber, i like when Bush goes for more money under the guise of protecting the troops. He ask for 80 billion and about 25 cents go to the troops. then Pelosi and Reed cower to him. What a despicable thing to use the troops for more money when in fact they hardly see any of it percentage wise. What might be more despicable is the democrats acting like they don't know what to do. They are nothing but phony enablers. I was thinking the other day that its time to forget about these scumbag neocons and just start eliminating people like Pelosi and Reed. Then i remembered Connecticut tried that but that despicable piece of shit senator from Israel Lieberman found a way around it. Only in our country with people as dumb as ours, a politician could get away with what Lieberman pulled off.

Jabbers your "Raw Story" article is from 05 if you'd pay attention--and Cheney gave all his profits to charity--

I'll go back to my initial recommendation --get off these liberal blogs and find out whats really going on in the world--

On Haliburton/Cheney you might want to read fact check org
http://www.factcheck.org/article261.html

--and on Buffet--maybe his "rare interview" on FOX's new business channel might enlighten you.
Thats if you beklieve what he says vs what your blogs tell you :)
heres his interview-

+++++++++++++++++++
When your finished you might want to report back and inform others on the "facts" of both matters.;)

---and I will be heading back to China in a little over a month FYI.
Will be checking out a couple companies there
and be looking into bother-in-law-opening stock account for me there--as will liquidate all stocks here not in SEP or regular ira--in case your crew raises capital gain tax.
Will look into selling/giving him majority ownership of my company--cutting your small business tax increases off at the knees--
Will look into purchasing property--only pay property tax once in China-at time of sale.

You see Spy I can look at all your proposed tax increases as doom and gloom or as a challenge to reduce what I'm already paying. I don't mind paying my fair share--but if it gets overbearing I can get down to any income necessary--and be the recipient rather than funder of your entitlement programs.
--and I won't be by myself--you can bet the farm you will see many boomers convert their business to LLC's prior to reaching 62.;)

Cheney's Gift Agreement

Since 2001, Cheney has claimed that one day his stock options in Halliburton will be given to charity, so that "technically" he holds no financial interest in the company. But it's been FIVE years and Cheney still holds 100,000 Halliburton share options with a gross value of $3.2 million as of March 9, 2007.

Why the delay in giving up the options to charity?

Cheney claims a contract he signed in 2001 "irrevocably" requires the options to be given to charity at sometime in the future. But the contract states: "Nothing in this Agreement is intended to create any legal rights, privileges, or benefits in any ... charity ... to any donation."

The Agreement also states that Cheney cannot be sued for reneging on his promise to donate the options to charity. It states, ?Nothing in this Agreement is intended to create any legal rights ... to any claim for damages resulting from any decision ... to withhold any item (i.e. withhold the stock options from the charities).?

The Agreement was signed between Cheney and Philip J. Ward, an attorney who is not affiliated with any charity. The Agreement gives Ward power of attorney over the options with the authority to donate to charity any profits derived therefrom.

Contract law allows the signatories of agreements to abandon agreements entirely if all the parties agree. Cheney and Mr. Ward may, at their discretion, terminate the Agreement at anytime and without any legal penalty and the charities would have no right to sue for damages. That's because the Agreement was made between Cheney and Mr. Ward, not Cheney and charity groups.

In other words, Vice President Cheney could retire from politics and terminate the gift agreement with the consent of Mr. Ward and keep all of his stock options.

Given Cheney's propensity for secrecy, the American people have reason to question whether the Vice President truly intends to donate the Halliburton options to charity. His ongoing interest in the Halliburton options creates an ongoing conflict of interest at the highest levels of government.

"Sorry Jabber Its hard to distinguish--"

I understand...to a carpenter with only a hammer in his belt, everything looks like a nail. Or, they all look alike to me (talking about those dirty, non-working negros of course). Take your pick, they both speak to a simple mind.
