Hammy, you can't sleep either?
Worrying about coming up with some cash for the Derby?

(Glad you're here so it's worth while for me to post something)

Let's see about gettin some EZ (?) Philly bucks to use for the big race coming up soon...

(you know the track)

2nd race: this is mostly a TRIAL, but I am gonna play it for real for this race today; not recommending anybody plays along. I've noticed that those PHILLY style exactas in races that I mark as "playable" are paying enough to box 4 horses in exactas. I use my top two rated horses along with 2 others that show angles that I believe are worthwhile. Box the FOUR of them in exactas. Here's the four for this race... 1,4,5,6.
Nobody is gonna like this part.. but a small win bet on no. 3 to WIN, only, on the side should cover the cost of the zacks if they don't hit. Punta is 9/2 and will prob. go off around those odds, so the side play doesn't have to be much. Let's see what happens.

4th race: I LUV the no. 7 hoss. Enough to wheel that one on top for more than 2 stinkin dollar tickets and on the bottom for stinkin 2 dollar tickets. Ain't gonna let the no. 8 beat me though; so that one (10-1) gets bet on the side.

5th race: I'll just write that no. 3 (3-1) and/or no. 5 (10-1) are ZACTA FACTAS. FOR ME, no. 6, Bullet Rain, has to be a side order. This one was a good one in the past, MUCH better than these. Terrible, terrible lately, but I cannot ignore this one at M.L. odds of 15-1.

8th race: NOT recommended, but for my record - I'm going to do something with the no. 5 hoss, Seychelles, in this race. I played this one ONLY 2 times last year and she won both times ($30+ win payoff the last time). She's coming off a vacation and who knows what she'll be up to today. BEWARE - her speed ratings are WELL BELOW the others in this race and her trainer and jockey don't help matters either. Highly likely this race may just be a tuneup for her against the stiff competition but there's no way I wanna see her win today's race without me.

9th race: it's playable, but I'll have to see where I stand at this point before playing anything. The "trial" nos. (like the 2nd race) would be .... 3,4,5,6 for this race. IF I play this race, I'd like to be able to throw out one of those nos. based on what I see in the prerace (paddock/post parade) and just box the remaining 3.

G.L. and do reply, Hammy if you see this cause I ain't posting anything without you around cause I KNOW you're interested in Philly wacin :)

edited: I just checked my account and the total amount for the no. 7 exactas was only $21 ($2 top and $1 bottom). Hell, that's even better.

Thanks for stopping in, H.

Thanks for stopping in, H.

Just as I figured, Hammy. I saw your name online late last night when I was going over my picks so I posted them. No. of VIEWERS doesn't mean a thing, I'm thinking they're just bored and read anything that gets posted.
If I see you're online, I post and you don't need to reply OR PLAY ALONG EITHER cause I KNOW you're interested in Philly wacin, like me. :)

Well, so far... . . the 2nd race was a disaster. The "worstis" that could happen DID.. .. SOMABEACH.... zactas lose and the side play runs 2nd (had him to win). UGH.

Just the opposite in the 4th. The no. 5 scratched which is prob. a GOOD thing. Got me $21 worth of ZACKS with the no. 7 ($2 on top, $1 bottom)... AND.. got me the no. 8, top/bot with 4 other hosses. Went back and put that bet in after I already played the no. 7 that's the best part. Yepper, one of them was the no. 2. Yeah, that turned out to be the winning "move" of the day. Even just half of that BIG, FAT, Juicy Philly Park bonanza zacta makes today a winning day alright. Here's winking at ya, Pinky ;)

Still more to come maybe? If I see you're online I'll TRY to post the L@@KERS.

OK, the 1,7,8 look better than the rest. Don't know who the hell that jockey is on the no. 8, but that one does LOOK worthwhile. My "main man" is on the no. 1.

No. 5 looks so/so but after the 4th race jackpot.. I'm gonna play her.

Almost forgots, that there no. 5? I did play that one as well, TWO stinkin dollars W/Pl (REALLY, this big sack i'm carrying around now feels good and I don't want to lighten it up too much).

I think she's still running at this point? Went off at 25-1. DO keep a lookout for this one though. Competition in today's race was too muckin futch. SAYCHELLES.

LOOKERS Don't agree with my top picks.. that's BAD.

ONE STINKIN dollar zactas... 1,2 top/bot 4,5,6. favorite may be beatable which could make this cwazy bet worthwhile.

Wrap up time.

Wrap up time.

SHEET.. that no. 4 was the hoss I had rated as my TOP pick for that race. The nos. 1 and 2 clearly LOOKED better than the others in the prerace though.

That's OK cause L@@KERS have produced the bigger prices according to my records. Some REALLY big prices too. They also are more likely to drop their anchors in the stretch run too like these two did :(

Hope somebody got else scored a strike (LOL) with Pinky in the 4th cause it's GREAT to start off a week (Sat to Tue$) like today cause the bestest/luckiest(?) day(s) are at the second half of the "week".
