Forget them ballers and lets see about making some moola today at good ole Philly -

2nd race: Just may be some "magic" in this race? That means a 1-3-6 box tri. I believe the longest shot of the three (12-1) may be the best of these also. It ya got some extra cash, a 1-4-6 box may be worth a shot. Side play, to win, is no. 8, Haystack Needle who's the insurance play.

6th race: Zactas, 3,8 top/bot with 6,9 should cash. No need for any side action in this race. If ya just gotta do it, then just put it on the no. 9 (10-1 M.L.). I think this one will go off a little less than it's M.L. though.

10th WACE: Just might be worth it to stick around for this one. Briefly, I like two longshots in the finale - nos. 6 and 11, 8-1 and 15-1 respectively. I hope the no. 11 draws in this race cause he's an A.E. If he doesn't get in, an across the board play (don't forget to go heavier on the Show) may be warranted on that there no. 6 hoss. Zacta factas are the nos. 1 and 3. Hmmm.. maybe TRIfacta come to think about it.

Jimbo, good luck today. Haven't had time to read the form except for some graded races on the weekend and essentially staying even. Just finished the Tough Mudder on Saturday and still taking Advil for the whole body aches.

Pretty much the same for me today afaras staying about even - you didn't miss much today at Philly, no biggie.

2nd race: well, the 6 scratched, so, according to my post, we just took a light jab to the chin with that freakin side bet. ACTUALLY, the trifecta bets showed ONE common bet.. that would be no. 1 which was in both tries. That one was the hoss I did like best to hit a tri. and it did finish 2nd at very nice Place/Show payoffs. Wish I woulda been here to write making that one the side play after seeing we (well, for Hamster IF he played along that is) got all the tri. bets back. I did play the 8 to win but ALSO was on that no. 1 hoss across. Turned out to be a good move.

6th: Just about the same as the 2nd with the scratch. Just played what I posted. Barely suffered a dink in that race. Blah!

Best bet race, 10th: Following what was posted would have collected pretty good Pl/Sh winnings on that no. 6 hoss (6-1). The no. 11 didn't get entered into this race. Even though I did try the "magic" tri nos., I did well in this race by following the across the board (THRRE times to Show) plays on that no. 6. Really liked that hoss and went a little heavy on that non-exotic play.

Oh, BTW, did any of you Peepers bang that no. 6 hoss :nono: ? (yeah, right LOL). He was 8-1 M.L. and opened at 4-1 :0
Luckily, went off at 6-1. Second "good move" of the day.

Not too bad at all, but nuthin to shout about.
