i followed your auburn and colorado plays.
Full credit to you for "capping the capper" and knowing which plays to like. :toast:

I went out to dinner when the Colorado score just went to 14-28. Called my Scorephone after we placed our orders and heard the 20-28 final. I had no idea until hours later it was what it was.

Clemson(-3) over South Carolina (1*)
- - The G-R-E-A-T senior leadership on this seriously talented Clemson team continues to define their season.

Alabama(+5') over Florida (1*)
- - I'm trusting HC Saban has been riding his team for weeks about what this rematch means so that I can count on sufficient focus from the Bama team MVPs and captains and leaders and such so as to not be surprised to hear they were allegedly found stupid drunk and behind the wheels of their vehicles this week.

Connecticut(-7) over South Florida (1*)
- - "I know which locker room I've been with as they were building a vault that can carry my cash again this week." . . . As noted elsewhere, USF has always struggled in cold weather games, this will be at night against a tough and physical team, USF is a mess right now with fans and boosters calling for a coaching change, one team has been playing their hearts out, while one team packed it in against their much bigger rival in Miami and played with no heart and no desire.

Oregon State(+10)(-120) over Oregon (1*)
- - Seems like the right side.

I'll add some further INFORMATION or ANGLE on dese games when some suitably cryptic form of expression crystallizes in my mind to my satisfaction.

Cincinnati(-125 ML) over Pittsburgh (1*)
- - My first really in depth capping of Cinci didn't happen until their matchup against Virginia Tech in last year's Orange Bowl. I remember a lot of excellent cappers really unloading on what they saw was going to be a coming out party for Tony Pike and Brian Kelly's Bearcats, and that my research found a lot of reasons to see that side of the game, but in the end I also found plenty of reasons to support my initial take that VT(+2') was a live dog. Despite suffering a 7-20 loss that made my VT wager a winner, I came away from that game very much thinking Cinci was on the rise, notwithstanding some serious losses on defense that would need to be addressed . . . A year later and I'm only 2-3 ATS with my wagers involving Bearcat's games this year (1-1 ATS on Pittsburgh games), but Kelly and Co. have been followed on my radar more closely this season than all but maybe 15 or 20 teams max . . . From a post I found very credible on another forum, "right now some of the bigger groups took the Beavers +10 and Cinnci -1. Only NFL game that I know that has major play was SD at opening #. AZ will get some love if Warner starts as well and I'd expect Skins to be hit Sun am." FWIW, I was on or leaning to all of those plays before receiving what I viewed as some positive reinforcement . . . While I was tempted to make this a Top Play with a wager of something more than 1 unit, I have to concede there are enough cautionary aspects that I decided the play was not sufficiently worthy of unloading (the first real December weather game, on a slow and notoriously iffy track at Heinz field, plus whatever distractions are generated by the Notre Dame situation, off a sensational and emotional senior day return by QB Pike for supersub QB Collaros, against a home rushing dog that can have some success chilling Pike and Co. on the sideline, and an opponent that has just as much on the line in a bounceback opportunity on senior day after being frustrated by their biggest backyard rival). Nevertheless, my cash is squarely on the Bearcats not getting turned away in a huge game against Wannstedt after getting this far.

Florida sits at No. 1 all season long before being righteously relegated to second best in their own conference.

Dave Wannstedt just seems to need his biggest stage yet in order to add his signature touch to a righteously wretched reputation.

Being on the right side of both isn't even required to enjoy such a tasty supper.

- - All season long it was frequently claimed by cappers I respect that an elite defense would shut down the Texas running game and then the entire Texas offense. Even assuming Saban can't get the Alabama defense to play quite as dominant as the Blackshirts did, the Alabama offense that put up 32 points on Florida in under 47 minutes will see the job done.
