I like Fathers Day too :0074

US Open and brewskies :toast:

I'll still be the cook tomorrow.

London Broil, grilled veggies and caesar salad.

I grilled London Broil tonight. Have not had it for a couple of years. Absolutely delicious.

Also grilled some asparagus. Very tasty.

We have about another month to go for some good old Iowa sweet corn.

Spending Father's Day with my stepson in his Championship tourney baseball game later on Sunday. He made a fantastic catch to end a key inning in the outfield in one game, and got the leadoff hit in the game winning rally in game two.

I don't need much - just seeing "our" hard work pay off in a day that precedes father's day, when we get to spend this day in an important baseball game? Priceless.

Happy Father's Day, gents!

:00hour :00hour

Add a few homegrown tomatoes and other veggies out of our garden and a steak from the farmer down the lane and its a true Iowa summertime meal.

Have had a few ears of pretty decent Missouri sweetcorn this last week, but nothing better than Iowa sweetcorn....
