Only a "newbie" here but have enjoyed all the bs and handicapping from all of you that have been around the block once or twice. Didn't make much money this year but didn't lose much either. Had alot of enjoyment. Hope you all have a good 2006.

Cute Happy New Years card Ann. I've seen you have made a number of posts regarding your father. I hope he's feeling better and can get past his recent health problems so he can enjoy his daughter and grandchildren for many years to come.
We have had our difficulties in the past but i would hope we could leave them in just that spot...the past. If not..I understand.
Please believe that this has nothing to do with the fact that my purple squad smoked your Bears today. At least you guys still have a coach!

Want to do a short response to you just to acknowledge that I saw and MUCH appreciated your post!!!!! (will explain better when I can respond to paragraph 2)

?????????? what in the HELL does this mean???? Have NO clue right now as to how to respond to this paragraph, and a very wise man once told me "THINK before you SPEAK" and this would be the perfect spot to heed his advice.
(please keep checking in on the forum for a response from me on this one since I'm not sure of any other way to respond) as soon as I have come out of the total *STATE OF SHOCK* you put me in by seeing a post from you, I'll do my best to respond.
well sunshine... all I can say about this is: (and please take this as the smart assed response as it is meant to be since I know one of our fallout issues was the inability to communicate online)
but hey, I know you haven't changed THAT much in 5 years that you wouldn't take every opportunity to take a Bears shot at me.... same as if I wouldn't take every opportunity to take a Vikings shot at you
(keep in mind the Hawkeye game is still a sore spot in my mind right now with that horrible officiating, so unless you want someone going postal on you, leave that one alone for a week)

To be honest Ann, I don't have a desire to share our conversations with the whole group here. We've done that before and it didn't play out so well. Nothing against the stray few people here that remember me but i'm sure there are many newbies that I don't feel the need to have them know what's going on in my head. you made my year knowing you were OK!!!!!! (oh, but by posting, the newbies would have only known what was going on in MY head, not yours)
before signing off, i will let all the oldies and the newbies as well know that i will ALWAYS l have love in my heart for you for saving my sons life 10 years ago.
and yes, i was talking about today's hawkeye game they got screwed without a kiss!!!!!!!!!!!! brutal offsides call on an onside kick that would have let them tie the game up in the final 1.5 minutes! (a no call just minutes before that on the Gators for too many men on the field)!!!!
it was heartbreaking to a diehard hawk fan, that's for sure!!!!!
still seems weird not watchin' the bowl games with ya....LOL (HELL, i could have been bitching about it WHILE it happened....)
