Just wondering on this one, but it seems like everytime I watch the Patriots or any other team Rodney Harrison has played on, he gets at least one 15-yard penalty on him. Is he the dirtiest player in the history of the league? His past fines certainly suggest this. Seems odd that the clean-cut Pats organization keep this thug around.

the pats are not a clean cut crew - they have their thuggery as well. they just hide it a bit better than others.

yes, harrison, is a great player, but he is a dick.

He is a good player but a piece of shit human being and dirty as hell player. ESPN ran some "comical" piece about all his cheap shots a couple years ago. The guy has ruined careers but is still seen as a "good player". That's why I wish someone would injure Brady and see how that is perceived...

Patriots are a dirty team but the league loves them. How about a holding call??? They held the Jags all night. What a joke. I hate the nfl.

Now that is a real mature statement. The man is having the best season a QB has ever had and instead of admiring it, you want someone to injure the guy.

I understand how it works. When a team starts having a lot of success, people start to hate them and want to see different teams, but that doesn't mean you need to wish that players get hurt.

Brady "may" be the best ever, Don't Hate, sit back and enjoy...

Peace & Love to you all

The Pats are one of their dirtiest teams around period.

Harrison has always been a cheapshot scumbag, so I can't blame them for him. Wilfork, Vrabel & they even turned Seau into a dickwad.

Did anyone see him intentionally punch Gerrad in the nutz last night? He did it as he flew over DG when he was already tackled.

I would go as far to say they are the dirtiest organization in the 4 major sports. Its starts from the top w/ all the cheating that has been going on for years & goes all the way down to the field.

He was doing that shit in San Diego I don't think it has anything to do with being a patriot he is the reason everyone knows who Kurt Warner is.

I had noted during the game that Harrison was a very dirty player.

On one instance he hit this guy out of bounds , he jumps up and helps the guy up and pats him on the back. He was not penalized but did get the 15 yd penalty in the next series.

thug life, pac man, vick, etc.

Scott:

The play you referred to when he did not get the penalty, if you could hear the audio, it sounded like he said "sorry" right after he hit him and then helped him up. Apparently, if you apologize right away then the refs will not call a penalty. This guy is a joke! However, as stated by others he is pretty good player, which is all that matters to the Pats. He will get his someday.

now that you mention it I do remember the audio of him saying sorry. And it was a late hit imo.

what goes around come around in football. Someday we will watch him go off the field on the golf cart. Then sorry will have a differant meaning.

TJ, to your point, the worst was on the play they called roughing the passer. i think it was late in the 3rd or early in the 4th. the tackle clearly had a handful of jersey. when the defensive lineman finally broke free, he grazed brady and tried to catch him. instead of the holding call, the ref called roughing the passer. absolutely incredible. a lot of people seem shocked that the league would prefer to see the patriots in the SB after what happened earlier this year, but think about it... the game will certainly lose some luster if the pats aren't in it. so they continue to get the calls.

bake, to your original question... as dirty as harrison is, i think bill romanowski was worse.
