today seems like the perfect time!

Pac-10 has a higher winning percentage in actual BCS games than all conferences including the mighty SEC (and yet NOBODY nationally recognizes this or talks about it). Since 2000, the 12 team SEC is 12-4 in all BCS games played. That's a winning percentage of 75%. The Pac-10 is 10-3 in all BCS bowl games played in (winning percentage is 77%).
"But it's only been USC!" I know, I know (we all know) that's the oft used mantra. And while USC was a dominate force nationally in the 2000's, the reality is a higher percentage of Pac-10 teams has not only PLAYED in BCS games since 2000, but WON BCS games than the SEC which sort of disproves the long held theory that the Pac-10 is only USC. Since 2000, the following Pac-10 teams have won BCS bowl games - USC, Washington, Oregon, Oregon St and Stanford. That's 50% of the Pac-10 that has WON a BCS bowl game. For the SEC, the same amount of teams have WON a BCS bowl game - Florida, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Auburn - that's 5 of 12 teams or 42%. The Pac-10 has had 60% of its teams PLAY in BCS Bowl games - Washington St played and lost in one. The SEC has had 6 of its 12 teams (50%) play in a BCS bowl game since 2000 - add Arkansas who played in and lost this year.
Again, I have to tip my hat to the SEC for the winning of all the titles. I can't and won't try to argue against that. But when you look at how the Pac-10 has stacked up against all other BCS conferences it's shocking how little respect the Pac-10 receives. Look at the the BCS bowl records of the Big-10, Big-12, ACC and Big East and actually the Pac-10 and SEC have kicked butt. All of those conferences are LESS than 50% winning against the best of the best in BCS bowl match-ups. Does this prove an East Coast bias? Because this information would surely come to a complete shock to a vast majority of college football fans outside of the Pac-10 conference. Hell, it would shock most ESPN writers/analysts and they're supposed to be the experts and all knowing.
i REALLY want to cheer for ore and dont want to hear from sec bozo's should auburn win tonight about how dominant they are (esp since the pac-10 has a better record vs the sec s/u the last 10 years) BUT......i think both lines are a HUGE mismatch in favor of aub and ore is fast but very small on defense (cant see them stopping or slowing cam newton at all, esp since the ncaa cant stop or slow him from taking....er.....not knowing about 200k his dad solicited)
