I don't think most folks are at their smartest best in social situations--but as this fellow was acting along fairly predictable lines, the gal picked up on this (women generally better at these clues) and did the smart thing (for maximization of profit).

Was the gal unethical? Especially face-to-face, infront of millions--but why should that make any difference?

I'm not familiar with the show at all. I hardly watch any TV. So i'm not sure what this game is really about, but what does this say about humanity. The popularity of all these reality shows just displays how our society is in decline. Ugh.

I don't fault her at all by the way. He easily could have picked that ball and they both would have been fucked. Which would be my preference.

He was played like a fool... However, the game should have a third option like taking a ball that will give you %50 percent of the money if you know you have some beeytach that you don't trust and would have to pick the steal ball and end up with nothing.
