I just played around with the figures. My premium is $1364 a month.

The max is $1364 a month for me and my wife, ages 56 and 60.

If our total income was $62000 per year our premium would be $495 a month. If we make $63000 our premium goes to $1364 a month. If we earn $200K our premium is $1364 a month.

The poor fuks that make a little over the $62K are fucked.

How is any of this fair for the middle class?

WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT!

It works well for young singles. Hairdressers, waiters, waitresses, bartenders etc. and lower earners.

You might save money if you live separately

Yep, that works. It might pay to get an apartment in Vegas and claim one of us lives there and we are separated.

Now, if me and the wife were 40 years old it's $459 a month instead of $1364.

WTF?

I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes if the needy get the assistance they need but JFC, give me a break!

I'm pretty serious about that. I might just move to Costa Rica too. Or Panama.

I guess most people here are young or have their health insurance built into their retirement because I don't understand why I don't hear more bitching. It's ridiculous!

Provided by their employers is my guess why there isn't more complaining going on here.

health insurance = $0.00 except individually dental bills, less prescription costs.

taxes w/ new govt work out pretty close now.

gain 25 cents on the dollar.

only thing thats more expensive is gas, cell phone and beer/vodka

After playing with the figures quite a bit today it seems it's the older folks that get the shaft. We get it shoved right up the ass.
