Where it is real F ing COLD
I read where you guys are eating steamed and raw vegetables all the time? I like mine with tons of butter and salt and I suppose that is a no no..

What do you guys put on them to give them a bit more flavor?

How do you stay full?

I am an eat everything type of guy but I just want to try a 2 week vegetable, juice, and water diet just to experiment? How hungry am I going to be? Maybe I should try a week first.

Woodson's thread got me to thinking.

Is low fat cheese good, I mean everything else I eat low fat seems to sucks. Will make a trip to the grocery store Sunday and start this and keep a record of how hungry I get. Softball tourney this weekend so diet can't start til Sunday night.

In the shadows
I eat asparagus, carrots cooked in microwave with basalmic vinegar and crushed garlic.

Cook asparagus 1 min to 1:15

Carrots 1:25

Fresh corn on the cob on the BBQ, wrapped in foil with crushed garlic and baslimic vinegar.

Endame, bolied, then sprayed with basalmic vinegar.

Us spaghetti benders love basalmic vinegar :toast:

BP,

I also eat Hemp Seeds

Hemp Seeds are Full of Health

I stir them in my scrambled eggs :0074

You can find them at Trader Joes or just about any Health Food store.

My friend did that and lost a lot of weight.

Make sure you take 2 weeks off, and have the Roto Rooter on speed dial.

Yeah there is no fucking way I going to do that diet? I am just looking for a way to enjoy vegetables without putting a bunch of butter and salt. Lets face it Broccoli and Coliflower are a little bit bland to eat plain.

Getting some good ideas though..

I don't eat meat other than fish, so here are my suggestions:

Stir Fry or Steamed Options:
Soy sauce with or without rice.
Old Bay Seasoning over rice, noodles or on a soft shell tortilla.
House of Tsang Szechuan Spicy Stir Fry Sauce (has HFCS in it but is awesome)
Olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper

BP --if you find you don't like the alternative recipes -I'd continue to eat them with the butter/salt. Believe the benefit of vegies far out weights any adverse effect of butter or salt.

I use what is called Califorinia garlic salt on everything--is quite diff from normal garlic salt--is white with green specks (parsley). Yummy!
