It should be a massacre, but Fla St may decide to mail it in and make it closer than it should be.

Why would anyone think this would be a blow out?

N Illinois is far better than Georgia Tech.

FSU has spent the year talking about how good they are and under performing in game after game. They beat two good teams, two Division Two teams and then a bunch of teams that won't be in a bowl...a pretty low threshold.

Get your money on FSU early so it drives the line up for the rest of us. I'm not even saying this will be a wager for me yet as I have to look at the match-up but, there's no evidence to suggest, based on performance, that someone should think N Illinois is out-classed by FSU.

How do they fuck up these bowls every year? I actually like that Northern is in there but SMU/Fresno St? Fresno St is a great team and could have been matched up agains say an Oklahoma St or Clemson. Instead we get these head scratcher matchups based on some bullshit affiliations. BYU/San Diego St.......Horrible!

Most of these matchups are weaker than you get on a normal saturday, without the prestige of saying you were in the Beef o Brady's Bowl or Belk Bowl, or who could forget about all the history regarding the Idaho Potato Bowl

Those watching bowl openers and getting caught up in each move tonight need to understand big bettors aren't going to tip their hand yet.

Agreed on Fresno State as they are a very good team.

I guess putting Navy in is a good thing if they deserve it or not.

Rice????

Purdue playing on New Years Day???

I hate to see Kent State playing Ark State as those are two of my sleeper teams. Utah State is also under-rated.

Viginia Tech is not a good team.

Outside of Clemson/LSU and Kansas St./Oregon, none of these are very compelling matchups.

Baylor/UCLA and WVU/Syracuse will be fun to watch offensively, but these suck.

I completely agree, FSU is highly overrated. I thought they were a very good team up until that NC State debacle and they have shown since then that they are not. Now their defense is pretty darn good but their QB is week and they are not really that good overall.
