NEW YORK - Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence in a possible drug-related death, police said. He was 28.
According to WNBC, Ledger was found with pills strewn all around him.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the Manhattan apartment believed to be his home. The housekeeper who went to let Ledger know the masseuse was there found him dead at 3:26 p.m. ET.
The Australian-born actor has a two-year-old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams. Ledger was set to play the Joker in the upcoming Batman film "The Dark Knight." He received an Academy Award nomination for his work in "Brokeback Mountain."

Any humor about a 28 year old dying is ALWAYS funny, especially when they leave behind a child.
It's even better when the joke refers to a movie that they were in and not having anything to do with real life.

The joke was intended for a "Public" figure who choose his fate..........
Do I feel sorry for the child, hell yeah.............the thread wasnt that deep when I posted, nor did I feel the need to do "Deep" research into the situation..............
Other threads were started today that dealt with death to "everyday" person that died with childeren, with jokes being made............Didn't see you jump in saving their name.....
Just this one about 2 guys...........well, you know.

Again, I didn't see you sticking up for the lady who died in GB after the game, with children, and jokes made about weight as the cause of her passing........

It was a lame 'joke' and I was just trying to point that out. I was not offended. I am not the hall monitor. I am not Mr.PC. Every now and then I get annoyed with the most 'simple' of non-clever jokes. No offense to you personally, but you know what I mean. :shrug:
