Thanks for your opinion Al Sharpton

Get over yourself, hoss.

When Tiger first got rolling, the chatter at men's grills at local golf clubhouses was ablaze with racism. That passed, and eventually Tiger became quite popular with 50+ country club types in this area. His popularity wained with his game following the scandal, which was to be expected. But the personal attacks have returned. While some may be holding his poor attitude, adulterous lifestyle and declining game against him, I can't help but consider the possibility that their initial racial biases against him aren't simply resurfacing.

Always weird to see him when he's not on a golf course.

At first, sounds like Robin was getting ready for some pole.

I dont care for Tiger, but I haveI never understood why all other players who are tied are listed in alphabetical order, but if Woods is tied he is ALWAYS listed first.

Love him or hate him, he moves the needle.

Woods 74-72 over the weekend. How did that compare to the field average?

Or because hes a lying cheating womanizer that was banging everything in Perkins sight.

Pretty sure its the infidelity more than the half blackness.

I'll give you that. But, I wonder how many of these holier than thou types are merely jealous that woods could pull more wool than them?

I think it's the complete opposite.

HH likes Tiger. Case closed. Many more examples around here too.

I can't stand him for being the cheater he is, for being a cocky asshole, doesn't tip, and I never wanted him to beat Jack's record.

I rooted for him early on but when the record became reachable, I started rooting against him.

Fuck Tiger!

You live in a racist area. Blacks hate whites, whites hate blacks. Certainly there are plenty of other folks around the country who didn't/don't want to see the black boy beat the home spun rich kids, but by and large, I think people root for the underdog, and Tiger will always be that, based solely on his race.

Plus, he was the best for a very long time. With that, you get the camps. People love him or hate him. Like the Yankees, or Lakers, or Bruins, etc.

Jack mentioned he liked Nicklaus. Me? I hated that prick. I never saw a more aloof snob than that guy! He always acted like the Red Sea should part for him, and he still acts the same way today! No comparison when you see an interview or time in the booth with Jack and Arnold. Arnold is gracious to a fault, while Jack is still cocky and standoffish, especially when it pertains to Tiger, and HIS major record.

So, being white, and disliking Nicklaus, I'm just a "Jack hater". But if I was not white......would I be a racist? :nono:

You live in a racist area.

I always find it curious to hear this from people who live in areas where there is very little multi-race interaction.

I think you are from Fond du Lac?? (can't remember)

87.4% white
6.4% hispanic
2.4% black

By the way, I'm not sure what my point is...
