STORY, that is, cause I know the Peepers like to sit back and READ
I've actually been doing REALLY good and I mean REALLY GOOD too - playing trifectas, that is. The bad news is that a lot (most, if fact) of those good results were ON PAPER :mj16:. The reason for that is the amount you gotta bet is pretty steep even though the $/ticket ... ah.. make that CENTS/ticket is small ($0.50). :s2: Not a good idea at most tracks, but if ya gonna give it try - Philly is the place to do it, FOSURE!
It goes like this -> ya gotta identify the KEY hoss and you gotta construct a list of CONTENDERS that is no more than 5 and depends on the no. of entrees for the race in play. You also have to identify the races (no more than 4/day) to do it.
It's kindofa "system" (UT Oh:violin: x14: :mj10
I developed. Here's the story for today.... . .
Today's 6th race was iffy asfaras as deciding if this race qualified as a "system playable wace". The CONS were .... . on the turf (not my thing) AND a full field. The Pros were -
the hosses that were entered (I really liked this race) and the matching jockeys that were in it. I checked out the sys. and no. 4 was the key. Now, ya gotta play it like this... 4/the 5 conteders/ALL and the 5 contenders/4/All . Now, all the Peepers know that $40/race (50 cent tickets, of course) AIN'T FOR ME :00x12.
Next, let's see, now, how did I screw this wace up. Well personally, I really liked the no. 7 who was rated 2nd as key and I used that one ON TOP, only for the tries and I played no. 4, the REAL key, to win ($8). "yeah, I'm a real grinder"
.
Sorry Peepers, ya gotta check out the 50 cent tri payoff for this wace if you're interested enough cause I woulda collected if I played it and I can't bear to look at it again.
Tellyas, I had others similar to today's 6th and even some with 4 figure payouts ON PAPER while I was checking this thing out. I did hit several for real with 3 figure payouts (for my 50 cent ticket). Today it would have lost the 4th and 5th races and hit the 8th for $206. The cost for them tickets for the 8th race would have been $32. We already know about the 6th race :0038
Tomorrow is Woodbine for me cause Philly needs to take off as many racing days as they can with the hope that the casino draws the suckers cause the track ain't pullin in a dang thang methinks. Just in case LHF is a Peeper... my advice is to handicap the JOCKEYS, trainers, OWNERS NOT THE HOSSES at that wacetwack. Still, the hosses DO run pretty close to as expected there. And, unlike Philly, that twack gets played like the N.Y. (A, Bel.) twacks I used to play. That is, give an edge to the lower priced runners on bigger $ tickets. Ooops, almost forgot - NO SYS. TRIES FOR WOODBINE. I never checked it out for WB but I'm pretty sure doing it wouldn't work out well at all.
Just gotta add this... . . today was a vry good day and topped it off with the 8th race. I prob. screwed up by stopping after the 8th cause I do like to "head home" (you know, in the "cloud" thingy) right after a decent hit which is what I'm gonna do. My plicks for the 10th would have been the 3 and 5 in the last race which is about to start as I'm writing this stuff.
